Halloween 2004

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby w00dland on November 28th, 2004, 1:29 pm
So I saved this Trip Report for later because I know you all want to read one, so here's my last day of the year. (From what I remember a month after)

So I got to the park around 930 like normal and went to the season pass entrance..Deja Vu wasn't supposted to open today which bummed me. I met up with Dejavu The Ride at Hometown station chain and we talked until chain drop. Also met the fright fest fans and they were cool. 8)

On your marks, get set, GO!

I didn't wear my fast shoes so I got to Raging Bull 3rd (what is that crap, I've gotten fat since opening day) When I got there about 11 kids decided they were cooler than me, my friend, or Deja Vu the Ride or anyone behidn us and skipped us. Everytime I saw them during the day I would either make fun of them or talk crap because they wouldn't talk back to me at all, even though there was like 15 of them and only 1 of me. So yeah did Raging Bull in the backseat and had a real good ride, decided to run back to Viper for a ride which was nice because I got to see Shay and Shay's a pimp.

Went over for two rides on Giant Drop where I saw the dumb line jumpers and had a nice few drops, I love the music while waiting in line for the drop it makes it a lot more fun. So we booked over to American Eagle for a ride going forwards and the trains were definatly trimmed right to hell on the barrel helix, made for a not very fun ride. We kept walking and decided to hit Iron Wolf since I hadn't in quite a long time. Opted for the front row which definatly delivered a smooth fast intense ride, absolutly beautiful.

Went for a ride on Batman and V2 which was nice, then hit Batman again and heard my station song. Then I saw Deja Vu testing so I jogged over there (completely not worth it) to find a line of people on this forum. In the front were the two love and first fright fans, dejavugurl, and Deja vu the Ride. Also in there was Dave and Galvan, and behind me was Papas, Nolan, and some other guys. Anyways during the 45ish minutes I spent waiting I had some REALLY good cheese fries that didn't feel very good on the holes that used to hold my wisdom teeth. Anyways we got on 2nd train of the day on 1B for what was a pretty good Deja Vu ride.

We walked across the midway to have a 6:1 ride on Demon which was alright. I was trying to hit all the coasters (which I didn't) since it was the last day but I was starting to feel a little sick. Kinda just walked around a little bit and walked through Necropolis twice until we felt like Batman again. Opted to wait for the front row which ended up being another really good ride. My Batman song came on again while we were in the station and Deja Vu the Ride, Dejavugurl, and the love at first fright fans got to see me sing along...woooo!

Anyways we walked some more and ended up in Looney Tunes lodge which was again a great time. You have no idea how immature a 16 year old can be until you give him guns that shoot foam balls. All I did was aim for parents that looked very mad that they were in the Lodge and little kids, great fun.

Lines weren't too long, but were too long for me. We hit American Eagle blue which had a great first drop but everything else sucked something aweful. I was starting to feel really sick now so I went on Whizzer which was pretty fun but didn't help much. Maybe food? Had a funnel cake which I think made it worse so we just went into the Love at First Fright show (I think it was around 4)

I liked the show (they amount I watched atleast) but I really needed to leave the park if I was planning on driving home safely. We left the park at 515 on closing day (how freaking depressing) and when I got home I crashed with a 102 fever. I'm going to blame it on my Wisdom teeth but I really don't remember what made me sick. Anyways for what it's worth the last day of the season was pretty fun, I'll miss the park this winter but I hope to get to SFStL or somewhere else that opens earlier. See you all on April 30th!

Hey, I sing too when The Passenger comes on.

Yeah, what was up with that? We literally stopped.

I think that's the one we went to, too. We were in front of the catwalk. :D

Nice Trip report! Man, I think I'll have to head out to SfStl too before I go crazy.

Nice TR. I didn't notice you at first cause you looked different from a picture I saw of you. Sucks for all the people who left at 5-6.
