Wow, almost everything closed or a really short wait. I can't believe they make money over there other than the fact that it's open year round.

If they are open all year round, how much is a season pass over there? It must be $150 or something.

The season pass is actually much cheaper than that. It is open weekends only in the fall, winter, and a lot of the spring months.

I hope that if they take down flashback they move it somwhere near here I want to ride it.

The only reason I say that is because I remember reading something that sfmm was gonna take it down and put up a water park.
You see I like the cubs and the white sox. If it came down to the world series I'd pick the cubs.

They already have a water park, the reason why they say they dont run Flashbak is because they say it distracts the life guards.

It hasn't been open for awhile. Not even during the winter, when it usually operates.

How would that distract the like guards? Unless they are like us (People who look at roller coasters like, dare I say it, pornography. Please don't jump on me for that, mods) they shouldn't be too distracted.

Nope, then they would lose their record of most coasters.

Well I think SFMM should take down Flashback/Z-Force and put in a v2 clone.

^ And leave it there to sit, because they won't run it if it "distracts the life guards".

A V2 clone would also generate more power than they have. They can only run 1 side to S:TE due to power issues. Well they can't even run S:TE now. But that is due to other issues.

I'm glad that you had a good trip. So many people go to SFMM and the lines are so terrible they have a crappy time. It's great to see that rides CAN be open there. :) Glad to hear their Vu worked for you.

It's loud, and distracting. Would good parks do something about this (removing or enclosing etc), yes. Do they have the resources to? No.

A V2 clone would also generate more power than they have. They can only run 1 side to S:TE due to power issues. Well they can't even run S:TE now. But that is due to other issues.

Basically because they don't have any budget for it at all, GAm thinks they have it bad with Vu they're damn lucky they didn't get that thing (even though they can't, you get the point). Imagine being in SFMM's shoes, X, Vu, S:TE, Rapids, Sky Tower, Metro .

i know that flashback is closed because it distracts the life guards...... but the day after SFMM , i visited hurricane harbor ( which sucked by the way!) the workers were blasting music in the section that flashback is next to.... AND their new water ride tornado sits right next to colossus, which is another loud ride .... soooo , wouldn't the loud music lso distract the lifeguards as well?HHHMMMMM?..... oh yeah and another thing ... while i was in line for one of the coasters , one guy told me that flashback was really rough..

Take a look at the Screamscape Ultimate Awards. Flashback won the ride that everyone wants removed for the second year in a row. The lifeguard thing sounds suspicious to me. Here's an idea. If they want to remove Flashback and keep their record, they could put a little kiddy coaster in that spot.

Yeah good job making fun of coasterzak. It almost made enough sense for us to get it. I guess I shouldn't even try to be nice to the newbs.
