ONE TRAIN OP:
Riddler
Batman
Physclone

We left the Marriot in LA around 8, with the kind of driving we do it should've only taken 35 minutes to arrive in Valencia but with LA traffic (I don't know how people deal with it.) we arrived at 915.

The parking lot hadn't opened yet and there were probably 200 cars waiting to get in, this was a Friday so I was very worried about crowds. The first thing you see when you get into the parking lot is X and all I could think of is that it's a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. The lot opened up at 9:30 and they made us park all the way around the park by Scream! Geez they even have a parking lot shuttle to come pick people up in. We walked to the front gates, went through the metal detectors and found a huge line to get into the park. But wait, look at the season pass line...only 4 people in it! And yes, the print and go tickets for my cousins and family work in there, victory!

They let us in at 10 and everybody started running to X, me and my counsin sprinted and made first train. My top 5 coasters has changed QUITE a bit after this one, oh my god what a disorinting amazing piece of steel! Going up the lifthill was awesome in itself and when you get up there and your chair starts tilting back your just thinking "This is NOT going to flip over this is NOT going to flip over." Xperiance the Xtreme 10/10 and my #1 favorite coaster.

When we left the line there was already a good hour/hour and a half wait because they load X as fast as my grandmother walks a mile, so we didn't jump back into line. Another thing I was excited for was Viper, a taller version of Shockwave right? So I should be expecting headbanging galore, right? Wrong. I got into line in the backrow with a one train wait and for once I'm going to say "Thank God for trim brakes" because without them it would have been Shockwave. They had 3 or 4 parts of the ride trimmed which made it slower, but smoother. I had a great 7 inversions and loved every minute of it! Viper 10/10.

Kept walking and tried out the "Oldest modern looping coaster" Revolution. The seats were pretty tiny but the ride was very very smooth, no headbanging whatsoever. (Which would have really hurt since the OTSR's were harder than Batman's.) The whole thing was just cool. 9/10.

Now my sister wanted to do a water ride. It's only 1050 why in God's name would we want to do a water ride?!? Well she got her way and we did Roaring Rapids (Yes it has the same name as ours.) This one didn't have any water jets but had some huge splash times, got me a lot wetter than ours. But I hate getting wet grrr. 2/10 It only gets two because it was actually a very good rapids ride.

We kept walking and found Deja Vu with about a 30 minute wait with a grouper. Nobody that I was with had ridden DV so we jumped in line, the crew was very efficiant and everybody seemed to had figured out the whole orange seat belt before the green harness thing. They were very quick at sending out trains and I sat in 7B. It was a great ride and all my family loved it even though half of them shat their pants when we got cought the 2nd time. 10/10

Physclone was right next to it and was a walk on with one train op. After I got off I knew why. This thing hurt so badly! I sat in the backrow with my lapbar up a lil because I thought I would get some good airtime but I was wrong, all I got was lower backpain time. Ouch! NEVER doing that ride again. 2/10 (There were two good pops of airtime in the ride, so it gets two points.)

People were getting hungry so we looked for places to eat, only 1 place in the food court was open with a 45 minute wait so we kept walking and found the mine train. The mine train was probably the roughest ride there and kinda hurt me, but I still like mine trains because they are just so fun with friends. It was a walk on with two train op and we stayed on for a re-ride. 5/10

Now we were really hungry so we ate at Mooseburger, which was different than ours because it's an actual Sit Down type restaurant. Food was good and filling 8/10 (Too expensive.)

We kept walking and passed Goliath. Wow, what a big sign that really gets your attention. We hopped in line and waited 20 minutes for front row and wow was it worth it, the view on the first drop was amazing and the speed afterwards was cool! It's the fastest coaster I've ever been on. The 3rd hill gave a good pop of airtime but the midcourse trims were on very very hard nearly stopping the train so I didn't black out on the second helix which was really really cool. Not better than Raging Bull, but right below it. 10/10.

So me and my cousin split from the group and wanted to check out Batman and Riddler's line. I figured they had 1 train op and had huge lines and I was correct, Riddler was almost to the entrance with one train and Batman was probably about 2 hours so we skipped both and rode some flats. First was the Acme Atom Smasher. I remember riding this at carnivals and fairs as a kid except this one ran much, much faster. It was great! Next was something that I don't remember what it's called. ;D You stand like the Gravitron but then it's cycle is just like the Orbit. It was really cool and really disorintiating at the same time, so obviously we stayed on for a re-ride. We walked back over by Riddler and jumped on this Freefall that was just like The Edge. It was loud and looked VERY unsafe, but it was a lot of fun and scared the crap outta me. So those three flats were a great time but now we had to meet back up with the group.

We decided to ride Scream! first. What a short queue, the full line only takes 45 minutes when full, but we only waited 20 for front row. This was my first floorless and I was in utter shock right when I saw how the floor in the station worked...Whoaaaaaaaaa. Front row was cool, I got the whole "Floorless" effect and everything. The Zero G Roll was definatly the best part of the whole ride. in my opinion better than Batman's. There were a few open seats so we took a re-ride in the 3rd row, didn't get the floorless effect but it was still a good ride. 9/10 Cool ride

Next was Collosus which looked like it could be fun, but it really wasn't. They were running one side with two trains and it was just pretty boring, very slow and no airtime. 1/10

So it was getting kind of late, 630 to be exact and we wanted to do Ninja. We walked, and walked and walked and walked then we found the hill. They should have had a shuttle service to this thing! That hill murdered half my family! Luckily Ninja was a walk on with 2 train op. I sat in the back and had an ok ride, really isn't anything special. We stayed on for another re-ride then rode in the front and wow there was a huge difference. Front row is definatly the way to go for Ninja. 4/10 in back 8/10 up ffront.

Me and my cousin broke off again and rode Goliath, Scream! twice, Revolution, and Viper twice.

We met back up with my family and it was 9 oclock. Everybody was tired so we went into the gift shop, bought an X t-shirt and headed back to the Marriott. With all the bad things I heard from SFMM I thought it was a very nice clean wooded park. The scenery was quite nice and the rides were awesome. Crowds were minimal which was amazing since it was a Friday, we passed the park on the next Saturday and there was a line to get in that was still on the Highway!!!! All I can say is that they need a decent woodie very very badly. I've got pics and I'll give a link as soon as I upload them onto my computer. Thanks for reading.

Nice TR. Was Riddler's and BTR's line long all day? I can't believe you didn't go try and ride those.

Why would he wait for B:TR when it's runnning 1 train with a long line when he's already been on it here? Bleh Riddler, if that thing had a line I wouldn't wait for it.

Ha me and Tom were calling that hill "The Hill of Death" when we were there, it just kept on going and going and going. We were nearly crawling by the end of it lol. And there is shuttle service and a path with stairs to get up it on the otherside. We realized that there is really only one good way around SFMM and that's in a clockwise direction.

Great TR, it's a shame you didn't get to ride Riddler's Revenge cause it is a very awesome ride.

What rating do you give the entire park? How do you compare it to SFGAm?

Since there were absolutly no crowds and most of the rides were running with more than 1 train (We will leave Batman and Riddler out because they had to choice.) I'd give the park a 8/10. Things looked very nice but the service and the workers could give a rip if I flew out of Goliath and landed on a water slide.

Another note I left out: Nobody seemed to care if you re-rided if there was an open seat in any row except for X. I seriously could have re-ridden Scream! over and over because there was always a seat open and no ride ops cared.
