Wow, the crowds were horrible today. We left at about 12:15 and there was a back up from Half Day Road to Grand Ave. which is about 11-15 miles or something. We stopped at McDonalds and went through the Drive thru, and we were sitting there for like 15 minutes. Oh geez, we had to park in the overflow lot, for the FIRST TIME ever. I was pissed when I saw that the overflow lot was already filling up.
So we got there at about 2 but I didn't get into the park until 2:35. I knew this wasn't going to be a fun day at all.
Here's the highlight of the trip. I get in line for King Chaos, full queue, 45 minute wait. I get on, the ride starts. We're going up, then when we got to the top, we were almost completely upside down when the car started rocking back and forth. I was thinking they were trying some different program at first. After 15 seconds of rocking I realized something was wrong. 15 minutes later the car starts going back down and everyone had to get off. They were giving us passes for free drinks and an exit pass. That was kinda cool I guess, but I wish I got my full ride on it. That's the first time I've ever been stuck on a ride lol.
A few minutes later I saw rct2wizard360 in line for Cajun with his friend and his friend's dad. Got in the full queue with them. After one hour and 45 minutes, and three breakdowns, we finally got on. Trims were barely on, but it didn't change the ride one bit. AWESOME ride.
We walked around the park a bit to find a short line. Every queue was filled up. It was crazy. I went on Bull with my exit pass, in row 7 far left. Great ride, seemed just as forceful and fun as the back.
We headed over to Whizzer, waited 40 minutes with a full queue with 3 train op. Nice ride... Dang, I'm starting to like this ride as I ride it more, lol
Then we went over to BTR. The GCPW switchbacks weren't full like they were earlier so that was good. But the other switchbacks were... Line was moving so quickly. 40 minute wait for row 3. Great ride, definitely hauling.
We ran over to Bull to finish off the night. Unfortunately a little more than one of the queue houses were full. So we quickly headed to Demon and waited about 10 minutes for 6:1. Great night ride.
We hung around the park a bit after 9, took some pics of ourselves by the Six Flags bus and left. Meh, good day but it could've been better. Only got in six rides, but it was well worth it.

With the Coke cans, Print-N-Go currently hosting discounts, and the season pass holders being able to bring a freind for free, plus the nice weather, and it being a weekend in late June, yes the park does get very, VERY crowded and today was a perfect example.
I know why the park has been this crowded: it was the last season-pass-holders-bring-a-friend-in-for-free day. I heard the attendance went up to 42k. (If I can post it on the site;otherwise, delete it.)
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."

It was also the last day of Kidsfest, which would explain all the little kids running around the park.
After 9, Viper was roped off and people were jumping over/under the chain running up to the station. Security was chasing after them, it was actually kinda funny.
