Kennywood

---
We all loaded up into the van and started our journey to Pittsburgh. Kennywood was about a 2 hour drive from Zach's house. Crazy how it's a park right in the middle of the city. It's just right there. You even have to go through a tunnel under a road after you enter the gates, just to get to the park. Very neat park though, very old and traditional feeling. It was like walking into a park back in the early 20s or something. Really neat. It even smelled old. There definitely is such a thing as the Kennywood scent lol because we brought it back with us ;).

Phantom's Revenge:
AMAZING RIDE! This ride definitely must be ridden in row 1:2. That is where it is at. The airtime is incredible. First drop is awesome, but the second one is amazing. You drop into this ravine down through all this awesome hilly terrain...it's so cool. At 82 mph you fly on this thing. Everytime I rode it I was crying it was so fast. So fun. Got about 7 or 8 rides I think.

Thunderbolt:
Prepare to have your ribcages crushed! That is if you sit on the outside. This thing takes these amazing tight un-banked turns, and sends you smashing into the person on the outside. There's even a warning that says, "Smaller rider enter train first". Crazy. But crazy fun. Took home about 4 rides on this.

Racer:
Sweet little racing coaster. Had some nice little airtime hills. Pretty cool. 2 rides.

Jackrabbit:
This thing is definitely scary as all that is holding you in is a metal pole (aka handle bar) and a leather whip that does nothing for you. Kinda scary. We tried riding with our hands up and I'm pretty sure we almost died. Definitely "did airtime" on that ride! ;) 2 rides as well.

Exterminator:
Sweet spinning wild mouse!! Just like our Ragin' Cajun but indoor. And the themeing inside the ride is sweet! I personally liked it a lot more than Ragin' Cajun, just because of the fact that it's dark. Also I didn't feel like my head was going to be ripped off quite as much as I do when riding Cajun. 2 rides on this.

The Flats:
WOW! Does this place have flats or what?! They had so many good flat rides. A Whip, Top Spin, Enterprise, Swinging Ship, Bayern Kurve, Magic Carpet (aka Mirage on steroids). And there's more. Lots of them. Really sweet.

Definitely an awesome park. Love the traditional feel. Love Phantom's Revenge. Love Thunderbolt, and all the others. Great stuff. Not horribly crowded though there were lines. They kept them moving pretty well though. Much more relaxed on safety there. No airgates, ops just kind of do as they please, such as eating potato chips while working. But it wasn't bad. They were actually really fast and efficient. No stacking on Phantom's Revenge.

READY! Yeah Phantom's Revenge is definitely where it is at. What a lucky park to have so many Miller coasters. You just don't see coasters like that anymore. Glad you had a good time Corey!
