Let us know how your day at the park was.

June 16th

Today was the first of three special season pass events known as Coaster's After Dark. Season Pass holders can stay and ride the all the coasters and select flat rides for 2 hours after the parks published closing time. To stay for the event you must be in the park half an hour before closing or in today's case 8:30.

Yeah, so I had to wait untiil my dad got home to work to go because my mom wouldn't take me during the day because she had to do some things(I can't wait to get my license later this year). So we got there at about 8:15, and went right to Ragin' Cajun to see how long the wait was and it was about 40 minutes so we passed and went to B:TR and it was a walk on running pretty good and fast today. Skipped V2 on to Iron Wolf. 1 train wait for the backrow.

Skipped AE. Needed to get on Raging Bull I hadn't been on it in a while. It was out the the entrance almost but it wasn't using any switchbacks, but it was only runniong 2 trains. We waited about 30 minutes total for a seat in the front row. The misquitos were horrible in line I was surpirsed we didn't get hit by alot during the ride. It seems so much faster in the front, I don't think I was in the front all last year. By the time we got off it was 9:15 so the Coaster's After Dark thing had officially started and everyone had to show a season pass to get in line.

Next was Viper, and it had a full station we took a middle row and waited about 20 minutes. Didn't get much airtime not a good ride, which doesn't happen to often on Viper. Didn't even glance at Whizzer. S:UF was quite long as was Ragin: so we passed on both. Which led us back to B:TR, it was about a 1 train wait. Next V2 which actaully had a longer wait then it did when the park was open for its regular published hours. Took about 20 minutes and 2 exit passes going ahead of me, before I finally got on. By now it was getting pretty late we were going to go on Ragin' Cajun but they had closed the line, so we went by S:UF and were surpised to see the line open because the op in front of Ragin; said S:UF's line was closed to because they wanted to get rides done close to 11. We got on S:UF after a 25 minute wait. I think it was my first or one of my first night flights. It was a great ride in the back row. When we got off it was 11:15 so of course we left.

So only 7 rides but it was still a pretty good night.

B:TR: 2 rides
V2: 1 ride
Iron Wolf: 1 ride back row
Raging Bull: 1 ride front row
Viper: 1 ride
S:UF: 1 ride back row
