Let us know how your day at the park was.

This was a good day at first. Rain was possible and it was a bit overcast and cool in the beginning of the day. I was even wearing a hoodie when I went in. So crowds were light to begin with. I brought a friend who has NEVER even been to an amusement park. So this would be her first coaster riding experience.

Decided to take her on Bull to start. Well, she was horrified and hated it completely. Said she didn't like that feeling of 'flying out of your seat'. So I tried her on something more tame. Took a ride on Demon...Thought it was better, but still didn't like it. Soo it looked like I'd be riding alone today. Oh well. She enjoyed the flats and loved Revolution and Ragin' Cajun. So that was good.

Later in the day it started getting really hot. And the crowds started coming once the sun came up. Lines weren't bad though and it was a pretty long day. Nothing much to comment on besides my first spin on Ragin' Cajun. I could not believe how incredibly intense this thing was!! AMAZING! I thought I was going to get whiplash on it. The thing is a little beast! So that was fun. Oh yeah, strange happening on S:UF... Apparently some guests had walked out into the yard below it. So two ops suddenly darted out of the station, running out there to get them out. It was really weird, why would people have walked out there anyway? So later security came and everything was better.

This time was better. Came with a coaster riding friend. It's tradition to go with her every year.

Fun day! Got a lot of rides in, crowds weren't too horrible. There were a few busses there but not bad. Got on just about every coaster before 12:00. Had a couple awesome Deja Vu rides. One ride in 8b, always awesome. Then two rides in 1a. Best ride I've ever had on it was our last ride of the day. Row 1a, at night...for some reason this ride was just amazing! I don't know why but it was just so incredible feeling.

Around 7:00 a few storms came by. No rain but there was lightning so rides shut down for about 30 minutes. After that I think all the schools had left because the park was getting pretty empty. Walkons on pretty much everything. So for the last hour and a half we just power rode and went nuts. It was awesome. Really good day.
