SFGAm 6/8

Let us know how your day at the park was.

We were all ready to go by about 9:20, but my mom was ordering Print N Go tickets for my brother's friends at the last minute. They tried sending them to her e-mail and after 10 minutes she called them because she didn't get the e-mail yet. For some odd reason they couldn't send it to her e-mail so they sent the tickets to mine. We finally left at about 10:05, and got there at 11:35 because of a slowdown in traffic by O'Hare.

Headed straight toward Raging Bull. Teal and yellow were running. Two switchbacks were open. By the time I was almost about to get on in the front row, they added the red train. So it ended up being a 50 minute wait. Great ride in front row...

I went on Giant Drop after that. 20 minute wait. Felt a bit more forceful than it did on opening day (it felt weak on opening day for some reason). After that I went over to American Eagle, finding that blue was closed. The line was pretty long - 45 minute wait for front row. First time ever in front row on AER :). It really amazed me.

It was 5 minutes after 2 and we had to go meet up with my brother and his friends at Firehouse Pizza. After we had a nice lunch I went on the Whizzer. 20 minute wait for front row. This was also my first time in the front on Whizzer. Very nice ride.

I told my mom I didn't want fastlane passes today, but she got one for me anyway. I was thinking it would be pretty crowded most of the day though - but I was wrong. Anyway, we went on Sky Trek Tower next. Then I got on Columbia Carousel for the first time. Not really a wait for those. Then we went into the Flags store and bought a few things.

After that I went on SUF with my fastlane pass. 20 minute wait for front row. This was my first time in front row since opening day 2003  . Then I went on Batman with a 20 minute wait for front row. Felt pretty forceful.

As I was on BTR I saw Ragin' Cajun's line was really short, so I ran over there afterwards. On my way there, I noticed it wasn't operating. But I thought what the heck, it just may open up in any minute. Three minutes after I got in line it opened up. 20 minute wait. This ride is so insane. I loove it.

Then I waited for front row on V2. 40 minute wait. The line was pretty short, but the station was like Viper's and Deja Vu's stations; crowded. My Mardi Gras beaded necklace fell off when we started going down the back spike the first time, but I caught it in time. I got lucky, V2 closed a few minutes after I got off ebcause there was some lightning. Then just about every other ride closed.

So we walked around the park... I got in line for Deja Vu even though it was closed, and a few minutes later I left the line. My mom had to go to the bathroom so I waited for her, and while I was waiting Vu opened up. When she got back after like 5 minutes I ran over to Deja Vu. While in line for front row, I found Brad and we rode row 1B. I think it was a 30-40 minute wait.

After that we went on Demon in front row, with like a 2 train wait lol. Then we went on Viper front row with like a one train wait.. Now I can say that I have ridden every coaster at SFGAm in the front row. Bull was stuck on the top of the lift hill and on the midcourse brakes, so we went on Viper again, in the last car first row. They announced a severe thunderstorm warning and it started raining for just a few minutes. There was lightning and thunder for a little bit but they didn't close down the rides.

RB was open once we got off Viper, so I was hoping to get on that, but my brother and his friends wanted to go home. So we left at 8:15, 15 minutes earlier than we originally planned. Overall, a pretty good day.

Your were smart to leave, after you left I was eaten alive by misquitos (even though Bull was still running 3 trains and was a walk on  ).

Lol, I really wanted to get on Bull before we left. I guess I wouldn't want to get eaten alive by mosquitos though

No not really. As I said they were just tired and didn't want to ride anything else. They said they rode just about every coaster except for Ragin' Cajun. My brother doesn't really care about going to SFGAm, but my mom got him a season pass anyway. I don't think she will next season, cause he really doesn't need/want it.

I'll have pics up sometime today.

Bull was stuck on the top of the lift hill and on the midcourse brakes,

What's up with RB lately, it's been gettick stuck on those midcourse brakes a lot more this year than I have remembered in past years. It seems to have been down a lot too, which is odd since I feel that it's our most reliable coaster.
