So I finally managed to convince my family to go to Lagoon after living out here a month. Got to the park about 12:15/12:30 and my first ride was Roller Coaster which is their wooden coaster. I hadn't been on a roller coaster in a month so I was rather excited. So Roller Coaster reminded me of Little Dipper because it sounds exactly like it when going over hills and turns. It was a tad bit rough but fun. After Roller Coaster was Wild Mouse which was like Ragin Cajun but didn't spin...it was ok. Next was The Spider which reminded me a little of Tony Hawk Top Spin, it had forward backward cars where you could choose to sit either facing backward or forward, that was rather neat.
Then was the coaster I really wanted to go on which was Wicked. It had a fast launch up at 110 ft tower like Kinda Ka and Top Thrill which was neat, had a few hair pin turns. Was my favorite ride there, I really liked it a lot. Then my sister and brother in law wanted to take my niece on the train so we went on that and saw the animals that they had. Not a large selection but a few.
After the train, they wanted to get food so I went on Colossus which was a rather neat coaster with 2 loops and tight turns. Short but it was fun. Then we proceeded to take my niece on a few more rides before going through the little kiddie corn maze which she loved. It was then time for the Frightmares stuff to begin. My sister and I went in a haunted house called Lockdown which was like a prison with crazy inmates yelling that they want to get out and that they're gonna die. Now I don't do haunted houses...I'm normally a chicken but my sister....she was worse than me. It was funny, the people scared the daylights out of her and I was laughing because usually that's me freaking out but it was the other way around. It was a rather neat haunted house, the costumes were really cool.
After the haunted house, we went on Bat which really wasn't all that fun. It was quite short but it had a short line so we went on it. Next was Jet Star 2 which is similar to Whizzer. It looked a lot like it, had a spiral lift hill and the trains looked like it too. Very fun. My sister wanted to do Sky Coaster which was like DDD but this time she pulled the ripcord. That was fun too. We then did one more haunted house called Deception which was also like Lockdown but wasn't focused on a mental ward, it was a mixture of things like hospital patients, a slaughter room, a hallway of mirrors, etc . It also had cool decorations like Freddy Kruger, Mike Myers..only to find out it was a person, scared me to death lol, the girl from the Ring. My sister freaked out in that too. They got her good in there too, the costumes in there were really neat too. Very well done. All in all, it was a very fun day and I was glad we got to go. They had like a gondola ride that takes you from one end of the park to the next, they had cool go karts, they had a nice ferris wheel but it's being worked on and won't be open till next year. For a park that size, it was rather nice and I hope to go again soon.
