Probably My Only SFGAm Visit This Year 05-29-10

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Director_Guy on July 3rd, 2010, 3:06 pm
Gah! It's about a month late, but hey. I have college to worry about so there.

Image
Hey! Great America! Long time no see!

Image
Special Ed offers me some pigeon poop to put on my face. I decline. He also likes to chew on his E-Cigarette.

Image
Hey! Tsuki's here too! And so is Caitlin. Over there. On the left. Next to Ed.

Image
Yay, fun!
Image
I missed ol' Triz Pliz. A really fun and simple flat ride.

Image
Special Ed finds giant ladies delicious.

Image
Bull had pretty bad wait.

At least I think. I'm so used to no lines at Universal Studios that I forgot what a normal park was like.

Image
The ride ops were so nice, they let us ride a no click ride. See?

Ed! Was it fun, boy? Was it fun?
Image
"Yeah! Yeah! Lessgoagain! Lessgoagain!"

Image
We gave the Bull some lovin', thanked it for it's time, then went on our way.

Image
Ed was upset that he couldn't bring his expensive new cup onto Eagle.
Image
Welcome to Six Flags! Give us your money!

Image
Good ol' Trash Receptacle. Y'know, he/she's kinda lost it's touch lately. A lot less frightening.
Image
We're still friends, though.

Image
Blatantly breaking the rules? Think again.

Image
Time for some watery unhappiness.
Image
Oh man, that's so wet.
Image
Gah! We haven't even dropped yet and I'm wet!
Image
Ahhh, crap. Crap crap crap.
Image
"We're gonna be fine. Lundy blocks the water from hitting us."
Image
I hate you guys.

And now, what I came all the way out to Illinois for! (not really)
Image
A new credit!
Image
Looks exciting!
Image
"Are we really going to wait this long for a lame little ride?"
Image
YEAH!
Image
Tee hee. I can see up it's skirt.
Image
Dipper is dippin'.

Apparently, we were able to catch it's first break down of the season! We had to wait an extra half hour or so but eventually we got on.
Image
And it was alright.

And who should I spot waiting at the exit, but Our Good Friend Andy!
Image
Image
NOW the gangs all here.

Image
We decided it was time for a Whiz.
Image
Oh, look. Kung Fu Kid ads.
Image
This is Tsuki's genuine immediate reaction to said ads. See kids, it's not just Enthusiasts who hate the damn things.
Image
Tsuki and Andy got out there pop-up blockers! But, that didn't make the ads go away.
Image
This made Ed sad.

Image
We decided it was time...
Image
...for everyone to get half naked.
Image
Let's do this one first!
Image
Cool view.
Image
Man, I really want some Cheerios.
Image
Poor Caitlin has to deal with Special Ed being special.
Image
Gulp. We're going in there?
Image
Shoooop. There's one.
Image
There's two.
Image
Aaaand Tsuki makes three.
Image
I only have an hour to play, then I have to go back to California. Let's play here!
Image
Water everywhere!
Image
The guys look up to find...
Image
Tsuki being evil to them with a bucket! Bwa ha ha ha!
Image
She then gets her comeuppance.
Image
Caitlin gets a blast of it, too.
Image
Our Good Friend Andy, vows revenge!
Image
But loses again.
Okay, we're all finally on the same si-
Image
Dammit, Ed! How'd you get over there?!
Image
Andy pretends he's a water nymph.

Image
Part of me feels that this is very, very wrong.

Image
Andy has something obscene on his shoulder.

Image
Finally, Ed is on our side.
Image
And look, they remembered to include the kitchen sink!
Image
POV
Image
I missed the exit.

Image
Andy was feeling a bit tired, so he sat down.
Image
Unfortunately, he sat on a water jet.

Image
Haha, I just imagine very uncomfortable muttering from him as he slides down.
Image
But he emerges victoriously.

Image
Oh shi-

Image
After I drowned, Ed was eaten by a shark.

And fun was had by all, yay!

And that was it. Our fun SFGAm adventure. Probably my only visit until next year. So until then!
Image
That's all folks.

Awesome, but I wasn't there, so not as cool. And I see you jumped from HH to Amity Island, took a photo with Jaws and ended back in HH.

^^Well, the flats I would be missing if I lived near Magic Mountain, but other than those I would just miss Demon, but yet what you would have to travel 3 or 4 hours from Magic Mountain to go to the other Great America, and go on Demon. However, for the flats though to me Knott's Berry Farm makes up with what Magic Mountain doesn't have - a Wipeout, and a Chance Revolution.

Knott's is a little too far to visit as often as Magic Mountain or Universal. And if I was going all the way out to Orange County? Ptschh I'd be going to Disneyland. Screw Knotts.
