Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby vprlvr456 on July 30th, 2009, 11:02 am
This year I was trying to break my record of thirteen rides in one day. The four of us, my dad, my sister, my brother, and me, arrived at the park right before opening. The only ride open was sky Trek Tower so we went there first. While we were waiting in line, we saw thye gates to the rest of the park opening. So while on the Tower, we saw Raging Bull and my brother and sister tried to persuede me not to go on because of the drop, but I wasn't afriad until the line, which was a quick station wait. I was literally shaking up the first hill. The ride wasn't scary at all, but I wouldn't have gone on if I didn't research it. About my brother and sister, they were too afriad of the Mighty Bull so they went on riccochet. After Bullie was viper, which was great as always. About a ten minute wait. Chubasco wa just the next dizzing ride. Walk-on when Reba was talking (does she do everthing?). After this was "The Demon, He's right behind you". 3 minute station wait. A new coaster for me, it was the 2nd biggest surprise of the day. The only bad part was the head banging on the corkscrews. Lighted tunnel worked with the flame-like colors shooting up. BB was next, a pleasant surprise. 1 ship wait. The Oribit was next with about a five minute wait. very nice. After this, we [u]said[u/] we were going to Logger's and Spacely's, but we ended up going to roaring rapids. 10 minute wait. Another pleasant ride. During the enclosed part, my brother started singing "There's no knowing where we're going, and there are no signs of slowing" I think we got the whole raft to sing it. When we saw RR, I also noticed RC did have a SR line. I told my family "let's go the RC". My sister was like " But line's huge". I was the only one to notice the SR line. Got on in about 10 minutes. The people in my car thought the ride was scary! We ate at Johnny Rocket's and noticed all rides had really long lines. So we decided to ride Batman, which was and hour 15 minute wait, the longest wait all day. I'm kind of glad it was a long line cause I got to enjoy scenery that I did see last time cause the line was 10 minutes. My bro and sis hated water and were basically forced on to RR, so when I wanted to go on Logger's, they decided to go Whirligig, which happened to have a really short line. Dad and I walked up to Logger's, the line was an hour long! We decided to go to YC instead, Trying to tell siblings about long lines but couldn't hear us. A 30 minute wait for YC, and was better than LR. After, we checked lines for Spacely's, hour wait. We decided to go Whizz instead.

A short Whizzer wait, 20 minutes. A great ride as always. Bro and sis went Rue Le Dodge, I went Dippin' Dots and Condor. Bro Aand sis came out of RLD right after I came off Condor. A very short wait for Condor 0 cycles. The sign for DK said 120 minutes, but it didn't seem too bad so we went in anyway, well I mean bro and me. 40minute wait. The effects seemed really different then last year. Oh, I forgot, after we saw Spacely's line and before we whizzed, we got Iron Wolfed. 20 minute wait. It was the biggest surprise of the day. I didn't bang my ears at all (with no tricks). We decided to check out Spacely's again, still hour wait. Hit up Revi, nice ride with 20 minute wait. I sang There's no knowing again, but it didn't catch on. Then, all three of us ( dad stayed behind) started singing Yankee Doodle. After that it was dinner at claim jumpers. Delicious, but there was a big fuss about charging us a dollar extra (we got our dollar back). Finally had to go on spacely's with 30 minute wait (front row). Bro went on AmeriEagle (line too long for me), while sis and I went on Demon. No light tunnel, but I didn't know demon's eyes glowed at night (cool!). A person in car behind us (on yellow train, first ride on red) didn't going upside down, so we told her to close her eyes and don't be afriad. She couldn't believe she was scared of it. After this it was time to watch fireworks and parade. Some mom changed her son right in front of my sis and I (a girl). Couldn't she just use a changing station instead of the middle of the park. Also, bro out smarted Sinestro about Sinestro.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
