SFGAm - 7/4 - Lots and lots of rerides

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Do I Know You on July 4th, 2003, 12:52 pm
Got to the park at 9:50AM. A sign said Deja Vu was closed (What a surprise  ) and BATMAN TOO! Yep, Batman, the ride that never closes, was scheduled to be DOWN FOR THE WHOLE DAY! I planned on getting on that about 10 times :P

First up was Demon, so I could check out Deja Vu, which still didn't have a train. I got on Demon three times in the back row with no wait each time. I came back and went on the front row which was really boring. Then I went on it again in the back for a total of 5 rides.

I decided to go check out Raging Bull. The line was at the beginning of the stairs. I quickly got in line for the back row and waited about 15 minutes. I FINALLY got the yellow train, which is the fastest, or so I've heard. I had a pretty good ride. I didn't notice a difference though. I got in line again and got the yellow train again  Great ride. The line was so short that I could re-enter through the fast lane entrance (the fastpass guy let me). I got on the blue train, which was surprisingly fun. Then I got on the red train for an awesome ride. That was a total of 4 rides on Raging Bull (about 15 minute wait each time).

Then I headed over to Viper to get a dose of airtime. I boarded my favorite spot, first row of the last car. The lap bar didn't come all the way down, so I had a few inches between me and the lapbar. I knew I was in for an airtime filled ride. I think I got a total of about 7 seconds of airtime. I couldn't ride that again because I had to leave at 12:15, and it was already noon.

I walked around the park a bit, looking for short lines and found none. American Eagle was only running backwards blue and the line was pretty long. Iron Wolf's line wasn't too long, but it was more than fifteen minutes. Vertical Velocity's line was full. I noticed as I left Yankee Harbor, there was an entrance for Batman right at the entrance to Yankee Harbor. I can't imagine how long that'd be. I walked over to Condor, which I knew never really had a line, but to my surprise, it had a three cycle wait. I was right about to get on, when I checked my watch and saw that it was already 12:20, and I had to get out of there so I didn't get to ride it.

Overall, I had a good day with a total of 10 rides in about 2 hours. Not bad.

Good TR. Batman is down because of mechanical problems.

That has got to be one of the most tired and useless questions that can be asked. If there is a train, it will be posted right away, not after someone asks.

Please, if you go to a thread, normally people read the first post. The first sentance of the second paragraph had your answer. I'll correct myself, people won't say if there is a train on Deja Vu right away, they'll tell us if there isn't one, too. 8)

I am lazy and don't feel like reading a trip report, I usually just skim and try to find information about what I care about like deja vu.
