Went to state fair in wisconsin to do something different that great america. Me and my wife and a gang of little ones arrived there around 2:00pm or so we went to this giant slide they had paid 2 bucks to get on and ride, that was pretty fun to go on with the little ones the slide is tall and you get good air time on it. After words we looked at animals with the kids and walked to the big ride area called the midway, it was then i spoted a very interesting ride called the shocker. We walked over to it to look at the ride, you could tell it was fairly new my wife got some ride tickets and i got on after saying i was chicken even though i ride everything at great america i feel weird riding other park stuff. Anyway i got on let me try my best to explain the ride to you try to picture a three armed scambler but with batman like seats and restraints 4 seats on one side of the arm and 4 on the back of that so 24 seats total now this is what this thing does you start to assend onto the air about 70 feet or so then the three arms rotate laterial rotation then the 4 and 4 seats i was talking about started to tumble you somtimes forward somtimes backward
this ride was the coolest flat ride i have ever been on it was like being on a space ring but way high in the air the beging of the ride was slow diping and tumbling you up and clos eto the ground and back up then it got really moving. I have been trying to find photos on the internet but found none i did not bring a camera. Well after that we had enough sun and decided to leave. But if any of you are planing to go to wisconsin or already live here check out state fair they got some cool flat rides even a small coaster and a 100 ft drop tower.

This is probably the ride that you are referring to.

^I looks like it might be a real good ride.

Do you remember what else they had?
Do any of these ring a bell? I love my carnivals as much as amusement parks. Too bad the Wisconsin State Fair is far away. :(

Power Surge?
Alipine Bobs/Flying Bobs/Thunderbolt (Haybailer type ride)?
Zipper?
Cliffhanger?
Kamikaze?
Orbiter?
Double Shock?
Spin Out?
Freak Out?
Himalaya?
Hurricane?
Inverter?
Yo Yo?

I went to the fair on saturday. I will try to remember what rides they had, but forgive me if I am wrong. They had a kamikaze, Zipper, Spin out, Pinfari Z47 Roller coaster, Dartron Cliff Hanger, some kind of haybailer type ride (don't remember which), orbiter, freak out, and a double shock. And I probably missed a lot more.

Gravitron is the best carnival ride out there. It's almost as good as the Go-Go-Gator little coaster.
