Another great day at both parks... 6/27

Let us know how your day at the park was.

We left at 8:15 and didn't arrive until 10 because of a huge traffic jam between two of the toll plazas. Oddly, I had the urge to go on SUF first thing. It was about 10:15 when we got in and the line for Superman was already longer than I expected. It ended up being a 40 minute wait because of a 10 minute breakdown  big mistake because we wanted to get to the water park right when it opened. When we got over there it was about 11:10.

To start off, we went on the green bowl slide. Awesome, still my favorite slide. Then we went in the wave pool and we were in there for about a good hour, haha. Had lots of fun. I was waiting for the raft slides to open but the lifeguards said they wouldn't be opening anytime soon. Of course I had to go out by Skull Island and try it out. It was awesome. We walked around it and also went on two of the slides. Skull Island definitely rocks. BTW, one of the raft slides was open when we were in Skull Island but the line was way too long.

Then we tried out the family slides. They looked boring but I had to try them anyways. I wanna get the chance to do everything at this water park. First we went on teal, which actually sort of freaked me out at one point but it was really fun, lol. We also went on green, that was also fun. We went in the wave pool again but these waves sucked so it was kind of boring. We went on one more slide, the teal atomic slide. I wanted to see if I would fly off the tube again. Well guess what I did, but it wasn't as bad as last time. It was awesome. I had a great time at the water park, once again.

At around 3:30 we were back inside the theme park. We went on Bull, 15 minute wait for back row. Awesome ride, but it seemed REALLY shaky. We got back on for another ride, a 10 minute wait. The crew was really slow, the trains kept stacking. Once again, really shaky at the bottom of the hills. Then we went over to Revolution, 1 cycle wait. Great ride. Next was Eagle Blue, front row, walk on. AWESOME ride. We stayed on for another ride in row 2. At the top of the hill we saw an awesome streak of lightning.

We chose the perfect time to eat, because then it started to rain along with a bit of lightning & thunder, so all the rides were closed. Then we went to Iron Wolf, and it opened right after we got over there. Pretty much a walk on for back row. Good ride, I had way too much airtime though and it was kinda rough. I would've stayed on but didn't feel like it.

Yes, my boyfriend got the courage to ride V2! So we went on. 10 minute wait for the 2nd row. Great ride, but this was also really shaky. I don't know if it's just me though. Jason liked it, thankfully. Then we went on Batman, about a 10 minute wait for back row. Good ride, and I saw that Cajun's line was extremely short which made me even more happy. Except I had a bad feeling about the line being so short.

Yeah, it was stuck on the lift hill. When we got over there, absolutely no one was in line. I wanted to wait because I wanted to get on it right away once it opened. But I asked the guy standing at the entrance how long it had been down. 1 hour and 40 mins, heck no I'm not waiting for this to open. We went on King Chaos instead, walk on! Great ride.

Had to end the night with Vu. The line was pretty short but it ended up being a 45 minute wait because the crew was so damn slow. Amazing ride in row 1B though. Great way to end the day. We had to leave at 7:30 but it was 7:50 when we got off the ride. Overall a pretty good day, one thing that's good is that Jason liked all the coasters and rides more than he did last time.

other notes from today:

-Mike and I got stuck on Whizzer's lift for 5 minutes and they gave us exit passes. Yay!
-S:UF crew was very bad today. They were stacking pretty badly each dispatch.
-Vu opened a little late but ran well throughout the day, I got on the first and the last two dispatches of the day
-Decently light crowds
-I finally got on Spacely's Sprocket rockets, although they gave us a strange look  I think the train ran faster because of us.
-V2's grouper is so useless (when there is one). Today when he was working he let so many people in the station you could not even tell there was a grouper.

Ride Count:

Raging Bull: 9
B:TR: 3
Demon: 3
Jeza Vu: 3
Whizzer: 1
AEB: 6
Viper: 2
S:UF: 1
SSR: 1
Giant Drop: 2
King Chaos: 1

Good day

V2's grouper is the fast lane person. I like it when they only trickle the people into the station. Less wait there, makes the line seem shorter.
