okey, it's taken me a few days comprehend everything, so here's my opening day trip report.
We left my friend krystal's house around 8:00, and after stopping at starbucks, we got onto I-90 around 8:30. We arrived at the park around 9:15, and got a perfect parking spot. We waited in the season pass entry line, and after getting into the park, we went to guest relations to get our cupon book. After that, we headed over to the bridge leading to hometown square, waiting for the chain to drop. Carefully we nudged though the people, and got about two feet from the chain. We waited in anticipation.
At ten, they started to unchain the area. They took long to drop the middle left chain, where we were, so we ducked under the chain and began to run. Only a few paces later, some idiot tripped me, and i fell. I got back up and ran over to Deja Vu, still trying to get on the first ride. We met up with Jeff, and we rode the 7b row for a great first ride. After we got on the ride, we met up with a few of Jeff's friends and Amber and headed up to Deja Vu again. The station was still pretty empty, even since it was like fifteen minutes later. After we got off Vu, we headed over to viper. Viper was a walk on, and I saw Dannie and her friend
Alli waiting too. So Jeff's friends, Krystal, me, dannie, and alli got on the ride first, and Jeff and Amber got on the train behind us. After we got off the first train, there was nobody there, so we got back on the train and rode again. After getting off the second ride, we all headed over to bull, which had a tiny wait before getting on. It was awesome,and I saw someone i knew up there, so it was cool. Since there was nobody over at Giant Drop, we headed over there. Almost as soon as we got to the ride, it broke down, making it the first of two breakdowns i encountered that day. It was a short wait, but the ride got up and running and it was awesome ride. After making a quick pit stop at the bathroom, we went over to Demon, which wasn't open, but we were willing to wait till it did open. The ride was very jerky and bumpy, at least i thought so. we chose not to ride it again. We headed over to American Eagle Red, and we took seats towards the front. It was also a rough ride, but i didn't really mind. After AER, we headed over it IW, and rode the ride. It was better, obiviously something was done to it to make it a less bumpy ride. We walked right on. After that, we went over to CCN, and rode Spacely's. I'd never been o it before, and it was a calm ride. I felt a bit odd on it though, since i didn't have kid with me. So after Spacely's, Dannie, Alli, Krystal and I were hungry, so we split from the group. After taking a picture with the new Shaggy, and watching Six Flags Party, and laughing, we headed over to Burger King. food was good. After that, we headed back into the park, and we went on Stargate. They had us sit front row though, and it was blurry so close up. The worker also asked some stupid questions and i made a joke about lighting a cigarette i didn't have on the ride. Good times, Good times. So we headed over to Sky Trek Tower, and rode that. I got a great view of the waterpark, it's really coming along. After that, I called Jeff, and we decided to rejoin our group in th Mardi Gra section of the park. Since they were still eating, we got in line for RC, and after waiting fifteen or so minutes we got on the ride. It was jerky as hell, but it was fun. I wish I would have bought the on ride photo, it was funny. I got smacked in face with lap bar too. Since the rest of our group was in the Bayou Grill, we decided to sit at watch he Jug O Jugglers. They were good, and Krystal participated in a trick. Our group of eight rejoined, and we headed over to SUF. When we got there it was broken down, but opened maybe ten or so minutes later. I rode with Dannie and Alli and i didn't like the flipping, though i had rode the ride before. So we went back to Stargate, and i had a much better time. GET THE GATE KEY!!! ATTACK (throws arm forward). lol. Okay, back to the report. We went back on Sky Trek Tower, showed everyone where my car was and stuff. After that ride, we went to Batman, oh lord, Batman. I rode the second row with Krystal, Dannie and Alli. Next was V2, and we rode it once, and Jeff rode it twice. We yelled at him, but it was okey.We went back around and rode batman again. Everyone but Dannie and I went again and again, but i felt a bit bad that Dannie had to sit there while they rode the ride, so i decided to wait. Jeff's friends had to leave, and krystal decided to watch the jugglers again, so we headed back to IW and rode in the front row. so Dannie, Jeff, Amber, Alli and I decided to go to AER. We were on a mission.We rode the new red car with some fellow coaster fans, and it was a blast. WE went over to Bull, and rode it again twice. It was fun. Dannie, Alli and I got some fries and heded over to watch everyone ride Viper. Yummy fries! So Dannie, Alli and I went to get Alli's season pass processed, and we met Jeff, Amber and krystal over at Deja Vu. The station was empty so we rode the ride two more times, then Krystal and I decided we had enough. We said our goodbyes after Dannie and Alli and we left. It was cold, but the cold made likes shorter, which is always a plus. It was a great day, can't wait till Saturday to go again!
