god i love all u ppl who understand us. and coaster_cop, SHUT UP!!!!!!!!! god i hate ppl like u. this forum is for conversation. thats y he told the story. think man. use ur brain. u try getting in those costumes and make up and then walk on the street and tell me about how u get treated and if u just walk away from som1 slaping u. o btw, he grabbed her after she slaped him. HE DID NOT DRAG HER TO SECURITY!!!! he grabbed her arm so she wouldnt slap him again and let go and then walked next to her until he found security. i know this because me and him walk next to ppl until we find security all the time. u say he was wrong for grabbing her. IT WAS IN SELF DEFENCE!!! u might think that no guy really needs to defend himself from a girl, but we are not gonna sit there while we are at our work and let ppl hit us. get it through ur head.

on friday i had some guy tell me that he was going to kick the sh** out of me, fu** me up, cut my head off, and he said, "i am going to litterally fu**ing kill u." u try dealing with stuff like that evey day.

coaster_cop, i dont give a crap it u work in the public 275 days a year. ur not singled out. ur not in make up with ppl thinking, "o hey, i bet it would be funny if i spit on the zombie/troll/clown/ect."

it was so crowded on saturday that when all of this was happening to my brother, i was following this other girl to security for punching me in the back for no reason. so u try doing the job and tell me how u fell. i hate u and like punkbunny

First of all...get an attitude adjustment, Coaster_Cop. I'm tired of your "blame the victim" mentality. And if you go to Fright Fest for the rides, then why not skip it altogether and come during the summer? Everyone's happy, then.

I know what happed with Nightshade's situation practically first-hand, as my wife was the staff person that ultimately handled the situation. He was repeatedly abused, and he repeatedly asked the guest to stop...Not just for himself, but so that she'd know it was unacceptable to hit other characters, as well. And when she refused, he attempted to address the situation as anyone would...By trying to alert park security, who were busy attending to other matters. He eventually found my wife, who works in the office this year, but has been a lead in some of her other 10 seasons. Both Nightshade and the guest explained the situation, and the girl was escorted from the area by security. And, while Nightshade wanted to press charges, and had every right to, my wife advised him to pick his battles...As the only other witnesses to what happened were her friends, whom she could likely persuade to tell any story she asked them to. It was a matter of practicality...Not right/wrong.

As it turns out, the girl was an all-around problem guest, and was eventually ejected from the park by security on a separate but related incident not long after. She had her pass pulled, and was blacklisted for next year. These are the things that can happen to someone who thinks it's fine and dandy to haul off and assault someone working in the park. And that's not even the worst of it...Had Nightshade had any witnesses, this girl would be going to court on an assault charge.

Oh, and Coaster_Cop? Before you go thinking we're just trying to get attention by telling "pity" stories, think about it. We come to the park to work every year to entertain the guests. We're doing everything we can, giving up our weekends and working for 12 hours on our feet in order to simply entertain you. And every year, abuse at the hands of guests make a lot of people not want to come back. So, whether it's people giving up on returning because of abuse, or the park or our company finally deciding that THIS is the year with one too many incidences of assault, sooner or later the jerks who think it's neat to hit us are gonna ruin it for everyone. So unless you've seen it from both sides of the mask, as Ruk, Kadunkadunk, Nightshade, Twinzombie, GD, Necrocheer, Tafaba, and the rest of the Creature Crew have...Shut your mouth. Until you've experienced being hit, body-checked, kicked, spit on, and slapped for NO REASON, you have no idea. None. And you demonstrate this not only by suggesting that Nightshade should just drop his hands and get punched, but also by suggesting he simply turn around and walk away. Anyone who's actually DONE this job understands that there's no quicker way to catch a boot in the rear than to turn your back on someone dangerous. WE learn that in the first ten minutes.

To everyone else: Thanks for enjoying the park in a safe, fun, responsible manner.

you and ur wife are amazingly kool. i wasnt there because i was chasing a girl for punching me but i saw him talking to security and ur wife and the girl who hit him and when me(twinzombie), my brother(nightshade), and ur wife were walking away, she kept saying that all she cares about is our safty. shes kool

Well said, Beef. None of us can relate, to what happens to you guys because we haven't done the job. I see people being smartasses to the character's all the time though, and can understand how incident's happen.

And before anymore argueing happens about this, im locking this topic.
