SFGAM FrightFest: Sunday 10/10/04

Let us know how your day at the park was.

So far the "Frightfest" Theme at Six Flags was not as good as it was last year.

I got to the park at about 1pm. As soon as I turned into the parking lot I went OH S***! The line for the cars was backed up all the way to the entrance. I wound up parking far away next to something that resembled a cornfield. So I grabbed a bottle of Dannon bottled water and chugged it down on my way to the entrance.

The lines to purchace tickets were going way into the parking lot, and the lines to get into the main gates were overflowing into the ticket purchase lines. It was mass chaos. Way to go, Six Flags.

The first ride I headed to was the motion theater. I was so upset because they weren't playing Elvira: Superstition like they normally do for FF. But I waited in line just in case they didn't have time to change the sign yet. When I finally got in, they were STILL playing the Stargate one.

The next ride I went on was The Orbit. weeee!

After that I went on The Demon. I haven't rode this since May. I love that the line is always short and it was fun.

Then I walked past the County Fair Food Court and noticed that they changed the name for Fright Fest. They changed the name to....wait for it.....MONSTER MARKET!! noooooooo....That is sooo scarry...*screams and faints*

Headed to the American Eagle next and saw that the blue train was stuck on the lifthill. Um, no. I have gotten stuck on the Eagle too many times already.

Went on the Iron Wolf next. Except for Fright Fest they call it the Iron Werewolf. About an hour wait.

I decided to go on Ragin Cajun next because it's been awhile since I rode it. I got stuck on this the last time and the car slammed to a halt towards the end when it was spinning full force.

Then I went on King Chaos because I wanted to give it another chance. The last time I rode this, the shoulder harness and second seatbelt nailed me in a spot(that I won't mention) really hard. Glad I went on this today because this time it was actually fun!!

Next I went on The Whizzer. Back seat and it was cool.

The last ride of the day I went on was Deja Vu which was actually running today! I sat in the back seat baby! It only broke down twice while I was in line.

I still had a couple of hours left but was done so I went to visit some friends that live in Chicago for a bit.

The bonus of the day was that they finally stopped looping that Venga Boys song that I HATE!!!!

I am going next Saturday with some friends from Madison.

Nice TR. Sounds like you had a good time. Yeah FF isn't as good as it was last year. And I heard that song plenty of times throughout the day, I thought they were only gonna play FF music.

Deja Vu broke down TWICE while you were in line. That's not normal.

FF was good this year I think its better than it was last year, what is the difference in my opinion and nobody say oh the entrance to Necropolis sucks no it does its better this way. They had it like that before and i think its better just what I liked about it last year is that they had that electrical sign thats it.

Man your a jinx when it comes to riding rides lol j/k.
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.
