SFGAm 9/19

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby DejaVuGurl1203 on September 19th, 2004, 10:20 pm
Well my friend never showed up, and I tried calling her, but no one answered. So we were a few minutes late heading out the door. Left at about 8:25 and got there at 9:35. Waited at the chain by Hometown Square. When the park opened they made us walk almost halfway. Then they let us go and I ran to Vu. I was the third one in line, right behind Dave and Tom. A couple of minutes later they opened the ride and I got first dispatch in 1B. Awesome ride. I got back on 2 more times, both with about 5-8 minute waits for 1B.

After that I ran to Bull. It was pretty much a walk-on. I went on it 5 times all in the back row. Totally awesome rides. I LOVE BEING A SINGLE RIDER! One guy next to me said "I've seen you here before, are you like, the park mascot who's here all the time?"

Next was Viper. 20 minute wait for 1:3. Awesome airtime. Then I went to Demon, expecting a pretty short wait (as in a walk on). WRONG! 15 minute wait for back row. Blacked out while exiting the second loop and going into the tunnel.

Then I headed for Revolution. 10 minute wait. After that was Eagle Blue, about a 15 minute wait for front row. Wow, great airtime, I've never gotten that much airtime on blue. Next I went on IW with my fastlane pass.

After that I had some lunch at Angelo's. Next was BTR, about an 8 minute wait for back row. I blacked out while exiting the first loop and going into the zero g roll. Whew... dizzy ride. Got on again with about a 6 minute wait.

Then I went on King Chaos. It had a pretty darn short wait compared to a lot of the other rides. BEB had a longer line than KC! Anyway 10 minute wait. Awesome ride. Even though SUF is really boring, I decided to waste a fastlane ride and ride it. Went in back row, about a 10 minute wait. I guess it wasn't much of a waste, it's better than I remember. Fun ride.

As I was walking by Carousel Hats, I decided to look at the hats... bought a Deja Vu hat and wore that for the remainder of the day. Triple Play was next. Not really much of a wait... nice ride. Then I went to Bull, rode that twice using fastlane. Used fastlane on Giant Drop, and then used my last one on Bull again.

Then I went to AE, about a 15 minute wait for red in front row. Amazing ride, I decided to get back on. I was gonna go in front but the line was too long. Had a great ride in 1:3. Next was Demon, I expected about a 15 minute wait or less, boy was I wrong... Almost all of the switchbacks were open. 25 minute wait.

I got in line for Vu to end the night. 55 minute wait for 1B. Awesome night ride. Great way to end the day.

Today was really awesome. My favorite part of the day was def. in the morning, with Vu and Bull. It was an awesome way to start off what I thought was going to be a crappy day at SFGAm. The crowds were lighter than I expected. V2 was closed. :(

Good that you had a great time! :)

I've found that being there for chain drop is the only way to go!
Finally Coaster Season!!

I was going to go on Sunday, but I would have only been able to go for 2 hours if I went with friends, so we skipped.

This year, Demon and Viper have been having longer waits then usual. (I think some queue work for Demon is in order.)

Next was BTR...I blacked out while exiting the first loop and going into the zero g roll.

That happens to me all the time. Except I sort of blue/red out. (If that even exists.)

Anyways, sounds like it was a great day!

I allways see stars there. In that location of the ride, the train pulls 5 gs.

I highly doubt Batman pulls 5 G's anywhere on the ride.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I black out(sometimes) on Batman. Then I only "gray out" on DejaVu and Iron Wolf.

I'll get tunnel vision on Batman or Iron Wolf about half the times I ride each. No big deal it adds to the fun of the ride.

Hmm.... I don't think I've ever blacked out...

Anyways this site has inspired me to bring a camera to six flags at least on visit for some reason.
That would be fun to do but I don't have my own camera. Oh well.

I really like the pictures. There are a lot of angles that most people don't take pictures from in there.
