Disney World 3/26-3/31(3 out of 4 flights on A320s)

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby A320Hater on August 30th, 2004, 8:37 pm
First, on 3/25, we drove two hours from Manistee to Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids. Our flight was a 7:00 on NWA to Detroit(the midfield terminal :D ) on 3/26. That was on a DC-9 :D :D .

At Detroit, we switched to an A320 :( :( bound for Muglando.

This TR will be grouped by ride and park.

Magic Kingdom

Splash Mountain: 8/10 Doesn't get you soaked that much.
Pirates of the Caribbean: 7/10 You don't get wet.
Big Thunder Mtn Railroad: 5/10 Seemed VERY slow.
Haunted Mansion: 6/10 Still scary.
Barnstormer: 6/10 Better than Big Thunder. I waited behind two Japanese-speaking people.
Space Mountain: 5/10 VERY slow and VERY boring.
Indy Raceway: 4/10 Kept bumping into the silly guide rail.
Buzz Lightyear: 7/10 A good ride.
TTA: 8/10 A good way to relax.

Epcot Centre

Spaceship Earth: 6/10 Boring.
Test Track: 10/10 GREAT! Got about 1st ride of day.
Maelstrom: 7/10 My first backwards ride of any kind.

MGM Studios
Rock n' Roller Coaster: 2/10 THE WORST COASTER BUILT!
Tower of Terror: 6/10 Somewhat boring.

Animal Kingdom
Kilmanijaro Safaris: 9/10 Not as good as Test Track, but still great.
Dinosaur: 8/10 Good. The meteor is actually the on-ride photo camera.

On 4/1 got to MCO for a 1:30 flight on an A320 :( :( :( bound for Detroit. We were in a 25 plane line for takeoff because MCO was down to one runway.

We arrived in Detroit, 1.5 hours late. But we arrived in Grand Rapids only .5 hour late on, guess what, another A320    . The third A320 in a row    .
My favorite aircraft I have flown... The Boeing 767. My favorite I haven't flown... The Boeing 747. My least favorite aircraft... The Airbus A320.

Good clean trip report. I like how you told us what aircraft you flew on. I, myself, hate airbus all together. From my name, you can probably infer that I like Boeing 737's (400 series to be exact).

Watch out, you and PlaneA380 might get in some brawls.

Splash Mountain: 8/10 Doesn't get you soaked that much.

You get soaked in the front and not even touched in the back, I found this kind of ironic because on the picture thing it says "dry is not an option" yet I came off completely dry in the back .

Big Thunder Mtn Railroad: 5/10 Seemed VERY slow.
Space Mountain: 5/10 VERY slow and VERY boring.

You have to understand that these are family coasters.

Spaceship Earth: 6/10 Boring.
Test Track: 10/10 GREAT! Got about 1st ride of day.
Maelstrom: 7/10 My first backwards ride of any kind.

Mission Space?...just seems kinda odd you wouldn't ride the parks newest, most intense e-ticket.

BTW Rockin Rollercoasters my second favorite coaster i've been on.
