So we got off and noticed Deja Vu was running already, looked like it opened up with the park since it already had a 45 minute wait. No crane there anymore! Decided to skip it though because we didn't feel like waiting. Walked on to Demon 6:1 instead. Pretty good, smooth ride.
I havn't ridden AE Red in forever so we went into that line first. We walked into the backrow and had my best American Eagle ride ever. Barely even felt the brakes in the barrel helix and there were no brakes on the bottom of it. That first bunny hill sent me over the seat divider. Even before the final helix there wasn't as much braking. The best part about it was that the ride op there was very nice and let us stay on another 4 rides.
We decided to just walk around for awhile and check out lines and stuff. It was around 12 and everything seemed to have a long line. King Chaos was running but for some reason they wouldn't let anyone join the queue so we kept walking. Then an idea popped into my head, I havn't seen stargate in months! Perfect! As I passed the carosaul I saw what I've never seen before. A full queue for stargate.

I felt like fiesta fries so I got some of those and walked for awhile and eventually sat down at Whizzer which wasn't operating yet today. While I was throwing away my cup Whizzer started running, perfect timing! 15 minutes later me and my friend were first departure of Whizzer front row. First time I've ever had first departure of two rides in one day.
We walked back into Mardi Gras and saw Roaring Rapids line was pretty short so we joined it. It was fun, but it was a lot more fun shooting people in the face afterwards. I spent 3 dollars at shooting people, man that was fun. We walked some more and decided to go on the train. I love the train so much, it's so relaxing and everday you hear something new. Today I learned that Viper is the second oldest coaster in the park right after American Eagle. Since wooden coasters are clearly older than steel coasters, right? We took a round trip and got off in County Fair Junction. Took a ride on AEB which was also going quite fast, but still not superior to AER.
Got back on the train to Hometown Station, learned that Viper is the second oldest coaster again, then left the park for Gurnee Mills. I ate a baked potato which wasn't all that great, and had an Auntie Ann's pretzal, which was great! Went into the arcade and played the basketball game and a few others, got 45 tootsie rolls with my winnings and headed back for the park.
We got back around 610 and headed for Viper. This time we were in the backrow and I wasn't completely stapled so the ride was better. Still sort of slow for some reason though. Went on River Rocker real quick and had fun, also checked out the Kids WB zone which sounded more like a rap concert. Hadn't seen DV run for awhile so I checked out that situation, empty station and no greeter so it didn't look good. Anyone know what happened? We waited 15 minutes for Iron Wolf which was pretty normal ride. We then felt like blowing off some steam, and what better place to do it but the Looney Tunes National Lodge? We were supernice to the op who let us in from the graciousness of her own heart, she even saved me a bag because there weren't any when I walked it. So me and my friend raged war with this family on the other side. I manned the machine gun while some random little kids went and picked up balls for me. (What nice kids.)
So that was GREAT fun. We stopped in the kiddie bathroom for a kiddie sized pee then were off to Batman. It had half a switchback open and was a pretty good quick ride. For some reason we walked back to Iron Wolf and got a night ride on it which was actually pretty good. When we got off the train one little kid spewed his dinner behind us which wasn't taht nice. We walked back past V2 (Who wants to wait for that when Batman has no line?) back to Batman where we were greeted with a 5 minute wait. While standing I bet my friend that Seal would come on before we left the ride, she accepted and the next song was Seal. Again, many people in the station were humming or singing along. I sang with 4 random guys ahead of me and had a grand ol' time. Whenever that song comes on Batman rules! I blacked out during the Zero-G Roll again. Great Ride.
We ended up taking two more rides on Batman before having to go to SWT for a Bull night ride.
We walked back through County Fair passing IW and AE because it was 9:45 and my friend wanted to do GD before RB. We had a great night ride on Giant Drop. I put my hands up and everything! (I don't like drop towers all that much, so that was a first.) We joined Raging Bull's line with about two minutes to spare and ended up getting row 8 on the final train of the night. While I was in line it looked like the ride was getting trimmed to hell but we had no trims on the MCBR and before the figure 8, really great way to end the night!
Despite somewhatly heavy crowds this day turned out really well, and I can't wait for Fright Fest!
Edit- I almost forgot, I was wearing my "X" t-shirt and jeanshorts today if anyone saw me...
