SFGAM August 13

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby sfgamer on August 13th, 2004, 7:57 pm
Today was just about the perfect day to go to Six Flags so I did. My day was pretty simple not to complicated. I got there at 3:30 and started with Raging Bull, it was even more awsome on the drop than usual today. Then I went on River Rocker and enjoyed it. Next I watch the acrobatic show at the Ampitheatre, the girls were hot and the sky wheel was awsome, what more could I want. After that I decided to go take a ride on old American Eagle blue. Next I took a walk on over to Batman The Ride, all the switchbacks were open except fo the ones in gothem park. Since my day was cut a little short I went over to King Chaos to check out the new system. At about 5:45 or so, I watched the band play at the Mardi Gras stage before I rode the Big Easy Ballons for the first time. And so there you have it, my day at sfgam today.

Superman was still broken down and that was to bad because sfgam just lost $12.00 (Meaning I was going to get a fast pass and ride it). It was stragne to see the crane next to Superman Ultimate Flight's lift. I bet that the trains are too slow getting to the lift and they are putting more boosters before it.
I want the sfgam survivor to be held every July and August.

They aren't adding booster wheels. It gets to the lift fine.

So generally, how long did you wait for the rides?

I waited about ten minutes for raging bull and about three minutes for american eagle. I think I waited about 20 minutes for batman.

Oh, and I changed my teory on superman: I think they are replacing some of the catwalk and hopefully cleaning the gum off the canvas roof over the exit path.

To have a theory normally you need some sort of evidence/justification not just some random thing you think of.

Well it's not an educated guess but the crane seems to be near the catwalk and the canvas roof.

They don't close down the ride to clean off the roof of the shields in the line (they do that in the morning).

Yeah but they would if they were gonna repair some of the catwalk. Anyway, only sfgam knows so drop this topic on superman and get on with what my post is all about.

What would be wrong with the catwalk? Do you realize that the lift motor might just be the problem?(Ron/Wolf also mentioned that in another topic.) It might need a part or something replaced from Switzerland.
