07/19/04 So sorry for the latness...is that even a word

Let us know how your day at the park was.

Sorry about this being so late. I have been on vacation and haven't been able to use a computer.

Well we (Me my mom and dad) got to the park around 9:40. We were kind of upset to see that Deja Vu wasn't going to open. Well we went left and joined the line for Superman. We had a half an hour wait. Which suprised use. Well the ride was great. I went on it once before last year, but my dad wasn't with me so I thought it would of made a great start to the day.
Then we headed over to the Mardi Gras area. I didn't think it was all that great a deal, but it does look nice. We saw that R. C. was closed so we went over to Roaring rapids which was a walk on. I swear I have never gotten so wet on it. As we were walking through the exit we heard a loud noise, and of course it was the break system to R.C. So we thought why not. R.C. might be small but it packs a big punch. I can still feel the burse on my shoulder  .
Well we left Mardi Gras and headed over to Batman. I think the color looks great in the park. Well it was another half an hour wait for another great ride.
After that we saw that V2's line was well there was no line. So we me and my dad got front row seats for the first time. We must have been ahead of the crowd or something because we got something to eat across from the ride, and before we got done eating the q was full.
After we got finished we went on Logger's run. I had a bit of an upset stomach and bypass Iron wolf.
We knew that the eagle was close so we got in the line for the blue side. We were half way on the lift and we started to slow down. When we got to the top we stopped completely. I didn't think anything of it until the red train did three full cycles. Then a worker came up and told us to be calm and told us that the ride would be running in a few minutes. Well a bell started to ring and we were moving. We were stuck for nearly 30 min.
After that incident we went on splash water falls, and went to see the show in the South western theater which was pretty good. After that we got in line for the bull. Oh it was great . Best ride there :!: . After that we got in line for Viper. Another great ride.
Well my dad has to go to the bathroom. So me and my mom sit on a bench facing Daja Vu. I kept telling her that we are probably going to get to ride every ride except Vu. Well just then I see a cable going on Daja and the car goes up. It goes through its cycle with no problems. My dads in the bathroom still  . The ride goes through its cycle 3 more times in a row. Finally my dad gets out. We rush over and see that a line is forming. We are standing in line thinking that it will never open. Finally it does. So were going through the line. Takes use about 15 min to make it to the first car row B. We think were going to be next. It goes through the station the second time but there is a squeal noise and it goes through the station again. Well those breaks along the track stop it, but it's not in the station. So a mechanic comes in lowers the ride into the station. Gets the people out. 10 min later it does a test run. Then were on. Oh I love the Vu. Even if it breaks down a lot.
Well after that we go across to Demon. Then we go and see the Show at the pictorium, and then see the magic show. That show was great.
After that we literally run to Iron Wolf, and is suprised to see that there is a full station but no line.
After Iron Wolf. We get onto the Whizzer. I love going on it at night. I think it’s the best feeling to wiz in and out of the trees.
Well I guess nothing can beat Superman at night except batman. Uh superman is a great way to start and end a day at Six Flags. To bad I can only go once a year

Superman-2
Rajin Cajin-1
Batman-1
V2-1
Egale Red and blue-1
Raging Bull-1

Did you see the video that they made of all of the roller coasters from the park? They play it before the Magic Show and I thought it was awesome.
Glad you had fun. I always love reading trip reports even though they are a couple weeks old.

I hate those upset stomachs. When we were at StL last year, my brother and mom had upset stomachs which haulted us for a little while. Considering that you only go once a year, I'm surprised you didn't go on Revolution, or KC if it was open.

I believe the word is lateness.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
