Ouch! Ouch! I'm glad I wasn't there Sunday. I probably have been on more rides at the Bloomingdale Carnival (mostly Predator and Zipper) from 1-5 than five people combined at SFGAm. Five Trip Reports, it must've been crazy!!!!!!!!

Hold it. First of all, It couldn't have made a record. I can recall one particular date which is October 21, 2000 and that has to be the busiest day in the park I have ever seen. I heard from someone that the attendance was over 40k heading for the 50k mark. I'm not exactly sure but my guess is 47k. What I heard is that the gates had to be closed that day because the attendance was so high. Plus, it took over hour after closing time for the crowds to finally disperse. I remember it vividly, a day which will live in the history books for a long time.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
