I have recently to Six Flags Over Georga in May and it seemed to be the worst park I've been too. The parks that I've been to are SFStL, Six flags Kentucky Kingdom, WDW, Universal Studios in Orlando, and SFGA.
Can you say which ride was down? Their Giant drop was closed, The Great American Scream Machine broke down, Georgia Cyclone broke several times, Free Fall (another version of Giant Drop) was closed, De'ja' Vu' was closed, Mind Bender broke down, and the swings broke down during my two day visit. How do you break the swings??????????????
Also, I was mad because they only had one train going on Batman, Mind Bender, Georgia Scorcher, and the Ninja. I also think that its hilarious that they actual hide their extra train on every rollercoaster ride.
In the brochure, it clearly states that Mind Bender has threeee loops, not the two that I've been on.
I give credit to Georgia though for not changing Batman the Ride. Keep it black with junk and grafitti galore. I miss Maggie in the peace sign!! It tells a story unlike SFGA now.
Their new rides. What a surprise? They have three of the rides we have. The have the Whirlgig which they call Batman Crime Wave, Ballons, and the SFGA Jester's Wild Ride which everyone is bored to look at it. They also have an indoor scrambler which is faster than the Hometown Fun Machine and neony. Lastly, they are constructing a mini-mine train which wasn't open yet.
Even though you have deal with so many problems at Georgia, I do have to say that the rides when open were good. I enjoyed the Georgia Cyclone 9.5/10, the Great American Scream Machine 9/10 , the Mind Bender 8.5/10,
and the other Mine Train 10/10. SFGA should get new woodies such as GCyc and the GAScrM.
I would also have to say that the Totally Pop show was good. It was good seeing some ladies during the Marmalade song.
Lastly Six Flags Over Georgia cannot tell time. The guide and the entrance time said that the park closes at 6 p.m., not 5:45. Some rides they don't even put a chain on that they are closed. The map says 6, you should open to 6.
So, if you really want to go to SFOG, make sure you have a season pass so you don't have pay for a day or too there.

When I went to SfOg everything was operating at full capacity and it was in March a non-peak time.
Breakdowns cannot be prevented so you can't really count those. Deja being down should not be very surprising. Acrophobia is also a protype ride and has some problems sometimes. So when you went really only 2 rides weren't open? Thats not that bad head over to MM sometimes and you'll see 6 of their 16 coasters closed on any given day.
SUF was flying both days, but the Cyclone had trouble. I think that part of the problem is that it has one or two motors connected to four tires. Whoever thought of that design was pretty stupid.
