May 31st
Got to the park late as usual, around 5. King Chaos had the "This Ride Will Not Open Today" sign up again, but again the waterfall was on . Raging Bull was under may not be operating today sign and Triple Play was closed of course.
I headed straight to Mardi Gras because I really wanted to go on Ragin' Cajun. I get there and it's almost a full queue with only 4 cars going so I skip it. I thought the park was going to be fairly crowded after seeing that. Then I get in the queue for B:TR thinking it would be about a 20 minute wait but GASP! empty station. Walked right on 2nd row. They took good 5 minutes to send the train though, I almost fell asleep in while waiting on the train . I seemed to be running OK todat, which coinsides with its random moods this eyar
Took a turn on V2 with a 2 train wait. Iron Wolf was about a 5 minute wait for back row. Skipped AE because didn't feel like walking the whole queue. Deja Vu was a long line almost a full queue minus the switchbacls so I skipped it. South West time. Giant Drop was down but they were testing it so I got in the line that was forming. They tested it once and it opened. Raging Bull was using the whole 1st set of switchbacks and out of the queue so we skipped. Viper had a full station which is hell most of the time, but we found a short row and some nice people let us go infront of them because they were waiting for their friends so they could get on the same ride so it was a short wait. Sat in the middle not to much airtime. I didn't even walk in front of Demon which is a sin to some people .
Whizzer had a full station so I passed. Got in line for S:UF trying to keep my flight rate at around 3 per visit. Short wait, the person punching the fastlanes was letting people steadly into the station to avoid crowding, which would be a good idea on some rides but I find it unessecary on this ride as the station is never so crowded that you can't walk in it. Anyways it was about a 15 minute wait for back row. Got a second ride that was a much shorter wait then the 1st ride.
It was about 7:30 now and I needed to get in Cajun, the queue was alot shorter then it was before about a 1/4 of it was filled. Still took a good 30 minutes to get on. Pretty cool ride especailly when it spins during the 2nd half. On-Ride-Photo looks really good compared to some rides.
Now it was getting close for me to have to go(early of course). Got on B:TR back row really quick. Then did a V2 mini-marathon. Got 6 rides on it in about 30 minutes, pretty much just getting off missing 1 launch and getting on the next except for once or twice that I had to wait.
Overall a great day for being there 3 and half hours which seems to be the average amount of time I have been at the park each visit so far this year which isn't something to brag about. Here's the recap:
B:TR- 2 rides
Running normal at best, really needs to get consistant
V2- 7 rides
At least I got my ride count up big on something ?
Iron Wolf- 1 ride
Stand up, drop loop, turn around, through loop, quick drop, corkscrew, twist, twist twist breaks= Fun Ride!
Gaint Drop- 1 ride
Whooo drop ride!
Viper- 1 ride
The black people behind me saying "I'm rich b!tch" was qutie entertaining in itself(sorry if I offended anyone, but it was really funny)
S:UF- 2 flights
To bad I missed that 3rd one, gotta love that pretzel
Ragin' Cajun- 1 ride
Great ride for its size not worth more than half full queue wait
