I got to drive to the park for the first time ever today (just got my lisence back on the 29th of April) and the drive went quite smoothly, didn't hit any nasty traffic on the way there. Got to the gate right during the national anthem, bought two of my friends tickets and we were off.
First thing we did was Superman because 2 of the 3 people I was wwith have never ridden it before. It was a good ride and we all loved it. Sat in the back row and got good G's on the pretzal loop. Sadly we did not return to Superman that day.
After Superman we decided to walk through Mardi Gras and check that out. Jester's Wild Ride and Big Easy Balloons were operating, and KC had all the water dummies right infront of the ride. Still had the plastic wrap on the lapbars too. We kept walking and decided to take a ride on Batman. It was excellent! It seemed much faster than opening day and the forces still rocked. We got a reride because there was nobody in our row and had another good ride.
We passed on V2, IW, and AE so we could get into line for Deja Vu. We waited about 15 minutes for the back rows. Before we got in the op who was telling everybody to put on their seatbelts first decided not to take his lips off the microphone and it was really loud when he said it. Anyways, it was my first ride on Deja Vu in the backrow (I normally wait for front) and I absolutly loved it. I thought it went faster and I wasn't expecting to get pulled up so high on the first tower. We then backtracked to Revolution. It was my second time on Revolution because I don't really do spinny rides. This time was different, I didn't get sick at all and really loved the second half of the ride. Yay Revy!
Next we hit AER since it was so close and got trimbraked to death. Before the first helix many times, after the first helix which really effected the airtime on the second half of the ride, and before the second helix. That's the most I've ever been trimbraked on AE. Made me quite saddened.
We walked around for awhile after that and decided to go on GD. For some reason, I just can't put my hands up on this ride. I love how my stomach gets put in my mouth when I get dropped but I just get scared on it! Anyways, it was a great ride, got the crap scared out of me, wooohooo. So after that we skipped everything else of Southwest Territory and went to eat lunch. I had Burger King and enjoyed it.
When back into the park we headed right for Raging Bull because (shock) my friend had never ridden it. After a good 35 minute wait we were sitting in the back row, I had my favorite seat and got amazing airtime. After the ride my friend just jumped up and down saying she wanted to ride again. I can't blame her! After some more walking around we started the very short queue for AEB. What should have taken 10 minutes turned into 25 because the train got stuck on the top of the lifthill 2 times in a row. I've gotta say I was a little nervous when we got to the top of the lifthill, but it didn't stop and we had a decent ride. More trimbrakes...grrrr.
Went back to Raging Bull which was surprisingly down, but after standing infront of the entrance for about 5 minutes it was back up again. That probably saved us a good 10 or 15 minutes of queue time too! We had another fantastic ride, backrow of course.

After that we went and got a funnell cake. After I blew a little of my powdered sugar in my friend's hair she got a little pissed and decided to dump her plate of powdered sugar on my head. You could lick my shirt and get a very sweet taste the rest of the day. So we walked around some more and some more until we again go to Raging Bull. Another fantasic ride. It was starting to get a little later in the day and two of my friends had to leave at 6.One of those friends had never been on V2 before, so we quickly got into that queue line which was easily the longest of the day. We went into the back rows and had a good ride. Seemed a little slow, could've just been me though. My friend loved it. Then we boarded the Scenic Railway by IW. When we got off we quick hopped in line for the Whizzer. After about a 20 minute wait we went on and had a really really fun ride. They should never take down this ride!
After a quick bathroom break it was time to say goodbye to 2 of my friends, and hello to shorter lines!
First thing was Demon in the backrow again, which was nice I liked it a lot. Then we walked around for a little while and joined the RB queue line. After 20 minutes we were in row 7 and had a fun little ride, no trimbrakes this time. Then we hit Whizzer again in the backrow and agian, a great ride. While ontop of the Whizzer we noticed that Viper's queue was basically gone, so we really hurried to that. We rode backrow and got decent airtime. On the top of the lifthill I felt some vibrations around my foot, and it was a cell phone! I answered it halfway down the lift hill and talked to some kid who was standing in the exit of Viper for a little while, I handed the kid back his celly telly after a fantasic ride.
It was getting to be 8 oclock (and cold) so we went back to Deja Vu. It hadn't had a problem all day until I was near the station. I heard a restraint wouldn't open. So we sat there for about 15 minutes as the line despersed and around 845 we were on in 8A. Halfway up the first tower I got a cramp in my foot! I have no idea why (I guess I need to drink more water, eh?) and it stayed with me until we got to the first loop. And after the cramp went away it was a beautiful dark ride on DV.
After that we ran back to RB and got on the 2nd last train of the night. I love looking up the lifthill for Raging Bull during the night. Looks like the stairway to heaven. It was a beautiful night and the best nightride I've ever had on RB.
That was it, the park was closed. Even if it was a little crowded it was one of the best days I've ever had in the park. And now that I look back on this TR I figure not many people will read it because it's tremenously long. Sorry about that.
