LOLercoasters and Monday, August 22

Another thing I wanted to tell you guys is last Monday was one of the best days I have ever had at Six Flags. I got to the park around 10:15 with me and three buddies. we decided to go hit Raging Bull first and blah blah blah... I'll jump to the good part's, plural. We all went on Batman: The Ride in the afternoon, the line was about an hour long. while we were in line a person with a yo yo walked in about 20 people behind us. I thought he looked familiar and then it hit me, this was Ian Johnson from Americas Got Talent http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfSqE8H_-8M . He made it all the way to Hollywood. We both started talking to each other and got on the same train. After we pulled into the station he screamed out "Doug that was awesome, we gotta hang out after this ride." I said "yeah" and the rest of the day we hung out. So we hung out and then came to Raging Bull. The line was about 1.5 hours long but seemed shorter because of Ian. He was doing tricks in line and everybody would clap for him. When we got to the station we went back row, of course. we were next in line when all of a sudden this VIP group of about 20 people came up through the exit stairs and just hopped on the ride. Everybody was wondering who it was and I remember this lady with purple hair and a green dress. She had two VIP tour guides escort her to her seat and take her shoes and flip flops. They sent the train and everybody booed in the station because they had sent a train with only 20 people on it. When that train came back, everybody on it said "again,again," so the ride op listened and sent it again. At this point I began to think who this really could be considering they never send a VIP tour 2 times in a row. We finally got on the ride and headed for Viper as it was 7:45 and the park closed at 8. when we got to the station these girls came up to Ian and asked for a picture. They told us that they saw Katy Perry and she was here at the park in some kind of tour. I immediately knew who was on Raging Bull, 3 ft away from me!! Ian was excited as was I. We tried to find her bus but she was gone. All in all it was a Great day!!

Here's a picture of Katy Perry on Raging Bull, This is kind of cool to see her on a roller coaster. We picked up this after riding the Bull. She is the one with purple hair and green dress.

^In the V2 picture, she looks better. She's a major star, and it would cool to see her in person, but if Avril Lavigne or Mandy Moore showed up to the park, I would be drooling like anything. The thing is that these stars don't seem to come to the park unless they are in the neighborhood. She had a concert, so she came. Or a Chicago player (Cubs, Sox, Blackhawks, Bulls, etc) would come to the park because they are with a Chicago team. Did anyone ever see Jennie Finch at the park? Though, she retired I think now.

Things are changing at the park this week. Demon LOST it's ad on the red train! Of course, the Demon sign has changed. I was looking at that County Fair train station, and boy did it look like new green paint on the outside. There are some Iron Wolf trees with pink on them (2). V2 didn't seem to be 90 second waiting anymore, and it kind of looked like there was more stuff below - 5 of those generator things, 3 Carrier fans.
