Saturday 10/23

Finally I got to go to Fright Fest after sitting in boring Utah for 2 and a half months. I was so excited I hardly slept the night before. Got to the park 10 after 10 and met up with a good friend of mine. It was raining when I got to the park so we went on Morgue first because Whizzer wasn't open due to the rain. It was amazing as always, loved the blacklight and the music. After Morgue was Bull, wasn't in the mood for Viper. Didn't wait long for Bull back row so that was good. The rain had let up by then so then we headed over to Demon. Not a long wait for Demon, it looks so amazing a night. Gotta love it. After Demon was Batman because Red side Eagle wasn't open until later. V2 is still closed. While waiting for BTR, we went on Whirligig and these stupid guys were misbehaving and chain linking arms and clinking their chairs. The ride op got mad so she stopped the ride, kicked them off and then we got a reride.

We then got on BTR and that was a good ride as always. We went into Necropolis and I for the first time went in Maus. I had never gone before and it was good, I rather enjoyed it. Didn't bother with Saw. I had a feeling it wouldn't be worth the 7 dollars so we skipped it. I went to go see LAFF which was amazing and the jokes were really good this year. I wanted to see DMP but didn't have time so I saw it Sunday instead. After LAFF we went on Swamp Thing which wasn't that long of a wait, still a good ride. After that we went in Area 51 and Back Lot Horror Tour while waiting for Drop. I do need to say this Area 51 really needs to be improved..I know it's a week before the park closes but it needs more scareactors . Back Lot Horror Tour I thought was rather neat, I did get scared a few times in there. It was also rather cool going through the ampitheater. We then did Drop followed by Eagle and as soon as we got off Eagle, it started raining and lightning. We were just heading into Necropolis when it started downpouring.....that was quite fun walking in. After Necropolis, since it was raining and I figured parade was cancelled we did Morgue once more and did Dark Knight while we were over there, we then went on Terror Twister 5 times in a row......yeah that left me a major headache. All the coasters opened 15 min before the park closed....yeah I was like what the heck? We weren't happy about that. I also forgot we did a ride on Columbia during the day. All in all Saturday was good despite the rain in the morning and around 7:45.

Totals for Saturday
Whizzer-1
Bull-1
Eagle-1
Demon-1
BTR-1
TDK-1
Drop-1

Whirligig-1
Columbia-1

Now on to Sunday 10-24

Took the bus up to the park and got there around 10:15. And of course it was raining.....again. So first ride was Bull since Whizzer was closed. Waited 15 min on Bull which wasn't too bad. Great ride :). Skipped Viper again, still wasn't in the mood. After Bull was Whizzer which had finally opened after the rain stopped. I love Whizzer and am gonna miss riding it while I'm gone. Didn't want to do Drop alone so I walked over to Eagle and it still wasn't open yet so I stood there and waited till Red opened. Good ride on Red side. I then headed into Necropolis again by myself and took some videos and pictures in there. Not a large crowd just yet but it got a little busier in the day. I then went and saw Dead Mans Party at 2 which was a good show, glad I got to see it. I then saw ZJ which was at 4. After 4, it did get a bit more crowded but the weather had cleared up so that was good. I then went on Morgue, SUF, TDK and Columbia before heading over to Whizzer and getting the daylights scared out of me by a few of the scareactors which were really really good. I really liked them. After Whizzer, I went and had something to eat because I hadn't eaten all day. So after I ate, I went and hung out by Wolf and watched the werewolves and vampires which were cool. Loved watching them scare people. I then went back to Hometown and did Reactor Core and then saw the last LAFF before doing one last ride on Whizzer and watching Full Moon Rocksplosion which I thought was rather neat. I was so glad I got to come home for FF twice this year. Can't wait to go back in the summer. To all my SF friends, I really miss you guys and glad I got to see you. See you guys next summer.
