Stay Tuned for August 1st Tomorrow and a SFGAm/CP Ride Comparison Challenge!!!!!!!!
You say Maverick is the best coaster? Where (only at Cedar Point), or anywhere? I can't wait to see your comparisons for SFGAm. My comparisons are:
Waterpark makes up for what SFGAm doesn't have in my opinion:
Blue Streak is 20 times better than Viper and American Eagle Mean Streat = bad
Maverick is good
Chaos is better than any flat in my opinion at SFGAm Tilt-A-Whirl = great Wicked Twister is a little worse than V2, Both great
Disaster Transport = good Mine Train = Garbage Iron Dragon = Garbage -- Corkscrew = good Demon = great
Batman the Ride = great better than Raptor Raptor = great though
Dark Knight = great Nothing to compare to Ragin Cajun = bad
Mantis = great Iron Wolf = good
Superman doesn't compare = great Top Thrill Dragster = great
Millenium Force is just like Raging Bull = bad Magnum could have been great if not in pain = bad
I know these don't compare, but oh well Gemini = great Whizzer = great
Wildcat = good (close to great, but I would have to ride it more)
Troika @ Cedar Point = bad Triple Play = good
Wavepool @ SFGAm = great Orange and purple family raft @ SFGAm = great Lazy River @ SFGAm = great Tube slide on 6 slide complex @ SFGAm = great
Cedar Points is extra admission for waterpark. In my opinion, they are even. The reason is because of SFGAm's waterpark. If SFGAm charged separate admission, than I would say the winner would be Cedar Point, but yet for roller coaster capital for ME I would say Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Over Georgia, or Six Flags Magic Mountain.

I don't know, a good argument can be made either way on Bull. Compared to other hypers Bull I would consider to be pretty bad. Overall though in general it's fair to midland.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
The only B&M hypers Iv'e been on are Nitro and Bull, and if the other B&M hypers are like Nitro then Bull is just not anything special, Its not bad but the trim brake just ruins it all, Nitro in my mind was perfect

Agree 100% with this. Bull is an amazing first drop, then trims and B&M Rattle. Even Wild Thing was better then Bull.
I don't know about Wild Thing better than Bull. But I think a Hyper twister was just a bad idea from the start. The whole point of a hyper is an out and back profile delivering a lot of airtime. Really Wild Thing better than bull is the only reason I didn't call Bull the worst Hyper, though everyone has different tastes. Bull as a coaster isn't that horrible, but comparing it against all the hypers, it just doesn't compare. I'd call Apollos chariot not that great, but after that was Nitro and that along with all the others was a world better than Bull.
Like I said, as a coaster on it's own Bull isnt all that bad, but compared with all the other hypers, it's definitely at the bottom of the pack. Now back when Bull opened in 99 and it was my 63'rd coaster, it was the greatest thing to ever be bestowed upon mankind in the known universe, but after riding a bunch of other awesome coasters, it showed that it wasn't anywhere even close to the best or even a good hyper. Maybe part of that is being a 600+ coaster jaded enthuiast, but still. Once you really have a sampling of coasters to choose from, it just doesn't bode well for Bull.
Though as far as first drops go, Bull's is among the best. Only Pepsi Max The Big One's drop is better IMHO. After that it's just alot of nothing.
Also, I'n not sure what the B&M rattle is and why it exists from a technical standpont, but it seems like all B&M's especially the newer ones have it, but in one or 2 valleys on Diamondback, it has it BAD. It's like the below grade crater on Bull, but worse. It's not unpleasant or anything like that, but it's strange to say the least.

It's my opinion, and if you think just because it's at Great America it has to be something great, well think that way. Raging Bull in my opinion has too many trims, and all the thing does most of the time is have track on it's side that gives poor airtime.
The best airtime at the park in my opinion is the Dark Knight, but everyone says they hate it. I don't get that, but oh well.
For that type of ride, my favorites are Goliath at SFOG, Superman: Ride of Steel at SFA (never tried SFNE), and Gemini (even though it's not in the hyper category). Diamondback in my opinion isn't as good as those, but in my good category. I didn't like Magnum (It could have been great in my opinion if I wasn't in pain.), Millenium Force, Titan or Goliath (SFMM), or Steel Force.
