Six Flags Magic Mountain July 23

Let us know how your day at the park was.

Im staying in Vegas(hitting all the rides here too) with my grandparents, dad, and bro and today we took a day trip out to Magic Mountain. We went to Magic Mountain in the fall and only three rollercoasters were open. Im also going to see if any people on this site go to Maine West High School, Ive always wanted to know if someone in my class is on this site.

We got to the park around 11:30 and I hopped out of the car to get a flash pass. I ghot the gold and thought it was going to be packed. So I reserved Goliath and started walking through the exit noticing that there was no line at all! I wondered if the flash pass was worth it after all. So we walked toward Scream, no line again! We skipped Colossus and I went on Tidal wave because it was pretty hot. It was around 1:45 and Iwent on Ninja, Ive been wanting to get on for a long time and I was not dissapointed, I has to reride. Superman was next, I used the Flash Pass and got on in two minutes, So fast. We looked at Terminator the ride and the line was so long, so I said forget it. I reserved Deja Vu and got on in five minutes, so long!!! I went on Tatsu and my dad and brother went on Sky tower. When They got off they told me that an employee said "There were engineers here yesterday to look at the land because they are going to build the biggest rollercoaster Six Flags has ever built here." When I heard that I thought it was a lie but he was serious. I went on X2 next and I was very dissapointed. It hurt my thighs alot, i dont know but I am 6'3" and it hurt so bad. We walked back to Terminator and waited a little less than an hour for the ride. After Terminator I returned my Flash Pass and got on the road about eight o'clock to get back to Vegas around 1:00.

After all it was a great day but I wasted my money on a Flash Pass. Maybe the employee was right!!!

There seem to be a lot of people who dont like X2. Someone I know who loves coasters, and has Tatsu is her #1 which has an insane pretzel loop, had to sit on a bench with her head between her knees for awhile after riding X2 :).

In the 2nd raven turn you get jerked around quite a bit, especially if your in an outside seat. I wouldnt call the ride rough though, just make sure the seatback is lowered as far as it can go and the restraints are tight. Last time I rode it was in an outside seat and just put on my restraint like a normal coaster lackidasically and I felt like I was gonna fly out on the first drop then was flung around in my seat repeatedly.

Yeah X2 is not bad at all. I actually consider the overall ride pretty smooth....and that was on an outside seat.
