July 12th nice day to go

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Jackluver18 on July 13th, 2009, 12:29 am
Got to the park 10 after 10 and always made my first ride of the day Whizzer. After Whizzer was Viper and I must say people must be really blind if they can't see a black and white poster board saying "No loose items allowed on the ride" blah blah blah, it wasn't even noon and 12 people had to be kicked off Viper. Next was Bull, teal train front row left side (horrible memories of that side) but oh well still a great ride. American Eagle Red was next, waited 20 minutes for front row on that, one of my favorites. Demon was after Eagle and I got black train front row, to be honest I like back row more because of the first drop but it still was fun. Superman and Dark Knight were next, 4th row on Superman and the "first" row on DK. Then I hit V2 front row which was a 45 minute wait.

After V2 I went and saw Show Stoppin again and the day parade. Decided to take a break for a few hours because I was getting hot so I went and hung out by Columbia for a little bit just to sit down because my feet were starting to hurt. After that break, I went on V2, Batman, Eagle, Demon and Bull, Whizzer and Viper again, ending with V2 for the night before the night parade. I have no idea how much more time I'll get to be going now because work is going to be starting soon, but I hope to go again soon. Oh and I forgot to mention crowds weren't as bad as they were when I went July 3rd, lot less people there today even though it was a nice day.

Nice trip report. I was at the park yesterday also, and it turned out to be a pretty good time to visit. The morning was pretty empty, but towards the afternoon it did start to get a little crowded.

It always annoys me when they take forever to start running 3 trains on Bull. Yesterday, I think they were using just 2 until 1:00.

Yeah it was a very nice day to go, I think it was around 2 that it started to get a bit more crowded. I think that's because they don't need to run 3 trains if there's not that many people on the ride, they don't need to run all three.

Why should they use 3 trains when they can get more people to buy into the Flash Pass? Why have not that many rafts in the Lazy River even if the Lazy River is pretty empty (They had tons, and tons more of rafts they weren't putting out.)? This is to make more money in people buying the other inner tubes. Why have a locker policy if they waste, what 10 minutes giving back the item to the people? Why have a locker policy if people with flip flops still put them in "bins"? It's to make more money.

They wonder why attendance goes down even if they built the biggest, and baddest ride. Customer service is very IMPORTANT!!
