Last Blast 2003! Tr

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby DejaVu The Ride on November 3rd, 2003, 9:48 pm
I know it wasn't really last blast, but it really felt like it. I go to the park around 12pm and got right in, after seeing at most 1/4 of the parking lot full. We all know it was a cold and rainy day, so I'll just give key highlights of the day.-Whizzer, Demon, and each side of American Eagle 1 train op.-10 minutes was my longest wait.-I saw Love at First Fright again.-After 6pm, the park looked like it was closed.-Vertical Velocity an Blood River were both closed all day as were they other rides that are closed during fright fest.-DejaVu and Hellevator closed for most of the day.- Going through total dense fog in Necropolis-The monsters were hiding under shelters inthe evening due to the rain.-I only spent a total of 7 hours in the park because I ate at lonestar. On to the rides...American Eagle Red- 1 ride walk-onAmerican Eagle Blue- 1 ride walk-onBatman- 6 rides, all walk-on, 1 front row, 5 back-row all with staying on the train.Demon- 3 rides, all walk-onIron Werewolf- 5 rides, all walk-on, all front row, 2 rides with the train to myself. The ride ops made the speil telling me that the rides new name was called "ghost train" and they told "everyone to get bhind the air gates and that the line was reaching 2 hours.Whizzer- 1 ride, 10 minutesViper- 7 rides, walk-onScooby doo train- walk-on, pretty good ride and deserves more credit than deserved.Hellevator- 3 rides, all walk-on, it was neat at the top because it was really foggy and it felt like I was above the clouds.Raging Bull- 18 rides, all walk-on. I felt like pins and needles. I stayed on the same train 12 times in a row.Superman: Ultimate Flight- 10 rides! All walk-on. 3 front-row walk-on rides. It was amazing. They were sending out at least 3 empty rows each train. I got on the last train of the season somewhere towards the middle. One thing I noticed was that when the train was rotating to the flying position, it kept getting stuck half-way and this one op, kept yelling re-set. What was up with that? I also got to talk to all the nice ride ops. I even rode a couple of rides with them because they were all fighting over who would ride next and hey were counting down the minutes to the end of the season. It was truly a great day and a great way to end the season! Thanks Six Flags for a great season!Re-Set...........lol
