October 24After an extremely annoying 2 1/2 hour delay at the airport we finally got to Milwaukee from New Orleans. We got to Gurnee around 3:00 and were very anxious for 5:00. We got to the parking lot around 4:00 and were let in. We waited for 30 minutes at the gate and they let us in the park. We power walked in the direction of Raging Bull, only to find another chained off area under the train tracks. Finally, at 5:00 we were off to Raging Bull. Very excited for our first ride, we headed for the back row. We got on the second train of the day. It was so incredible. It had more airtime than both Magnum and S:ROS at SFA. My dad and I came to an agreement that it was our number three coaster behind MF and TTD. Exhilirated after Raging Bull, we headed over to Viper. We sat in the third car, first row after hearing about seat 1:3 having a lot of airtime, however, I think I got it mixed up with the third row of the first car. It was still a good ride and definitely at the top of my wooden coaster list. Next, we headed to Deja Vu, unfortunately we got to the station next in line and it started to sprinkle (a growing trend through the evening) of course they shut it down. We decided to go over to Demon and wait for the rain to clear up. I wasn't very impressed with it, though I'm sure it was great in its prime. After that the rain had cleared up and we went over to Deja Vu again. We were extremely excited when we sat down in the seat. The restraints locked and everything, and then it started raining again. We decided after that we might as well move on in the park. Next, we rode Iron Wolf. B&M sure has come a long way. Thank God it had cushy Beemer restraints or this would have been extremly painful. We then walked on Batman the Ride. I have been on four other versions of this ride and this one seemed to be on steroids. It blew both of us away. It was certainly the suprise of the trip. Then, we went over to Superman. We waited 50 minutes and were on the steps. Of course the recurring recording of this ride is experiencing a temporary delay in operation, because of the rain. We decided we would try to wait it out, but it only got worse. We left the line and went to find somewhere to go in and eat. We stopped by the pizza place in Hometown Square and thought we would just wait for the rain to stop. After eating the overpriced cheese, tomato, and cardboard pizza, we figured the rain might have stopped. When we walked out it was pouring down raining and very cold. We didn't want to get sick so we left for the hotel. We decided we would just hit it really hard the next day.October 25We once again got to the park an hour early. It followed about the same schedule of letting us in 30 minutes early then waiting 30 minutes under the bridge. By then the Michael Myers music was getting quited irritating. We headed straight for Deja Vu and got on the first train of the day in seat 5B. It was incredible, but we still prefered RB to it. We went over to RB again and waited for the front. It had amazing visuals, however, I still liked the back's amazing airtime. We then rode Whizzer and my dad found it to be quite hysterical. It was a cute little family ride though. Next, we went back over to Superman. We waited a little more than an hour and fifty minutes, when it broke down. Thankfully, it was only for about ten minutes and we got on. A ride op stapled me so badly that it really hurt to raise my hands. I had already ridden it at SFOG and found the same ride experience. The pretzel loop was great with the rest of the ride being quite mediocre, certainly not worth the two hour plus wait. We then wanted to see if Batman's line was short only to find what appeared to be another two hour plus wait that we really didn't want to have to stand in. We went to the back and rode American Eagle Red and waited about 30 minutes or so in the back of the train. It was fun, but not as good as Viper. We didn't get to do Blue, because backwards rides mess with my dad's head. We then ate lunch. We then waited two and a half hours for Deja Vu with the annoying Michael Myers music again. It was once again incredible. We decided we had to do Raging Bull again and found a two and a half hour wait with the line extending pass the saloon. If it wasn't for Fastlane we porobably cxould have gotten on in an hour and a half, but that's okay. We rode the backseat again the only seat we rode in for the rest of the trip and got another incredible ride, but the temperature had dropped and we got an extremely cold ride resulting in my lips getting very chapped. We next waited in line for Viper for an hour with smokers on every side of us and let me tell you that is not a pleasant experience. We decided towait for the back since it would probably be the last time we would ride it. The back had much more airtime and gave a much better ride, definitely making it my number one woodie. We got in line for Raging Bull for the last time at about 8:30. We had to wait about another hour and a half and got a great final ride, but definitely the coldest. We finally left the park. It was sad to leave this terrific park. Ya'll should consider yourselves lucky that it's your homepark, and we will definitely be coming back next year. Sorry about the longwinded TR, but your park was worth a lot of comments. Thanks for reading.
AHHH!! PARAGRAPHS SON!!! Glad to see that you had a good time. Sorry that it rained on you. You should come sometime in May when the lines are short and its a nice temperature out. Plus most all the rides will be open. **Cough Cough V2 Cough Cough**I'm amazed that you guys flew up here to go to an amusement park. Did you visit anything else in Chicago?Anyways, I'm happy to see that you visited our park and I'm happier to see that you liked it!
Nice TR TTD123.Trying to convince people that haven't been to this park that its the exception to the rule in regards to SF parks can be trying.Wintrode knows how run this park with decent employees and better than normal capacity.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
To you maybe.Let me put it another way so even you can understand it.Six Flags as a whole has a bad reputation. Since Great America is owned by SF, some people refuse to visit it even though they have never been there before. They automatically think since its owned by SF, it will be a bad experience.Make sense to you now?

Made sense to me. You should have put it in layman's terms, and instead of using "trying" a second time, used difficult. Most people don't have the affinity of the English language to learn more than one meaning for words. Especially common ones that are often only used one way. Oh well, their loss.
