SFGAM - October 12th - "Fright Fest part I"

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Do I Know You on October 13th, 2003, 11:02 am
I set my alarm to 8:25AM, but I hit the snooze a little to many times and wound up waking up at 10 and leaving at 11:00. My brother decided he wanted his car washed, then he had to stop at 7-11, and then at Walgreen's, and we finally arrived at the park at around 12:30. (<-- Yes, I know that's a run on sentence)We saw a lot of people in line to purchase tickets, so we bought two fastpasses for the first time in about a year. I didn't think we'd need them at first, but the day would've really sucked without them.Raging Bull was up first. We had another kickass ride on the back. We walked around a bit looking for short lines and didn't find any. The shortest line we saw was for American Eagle Red, which was about 30 minutes. We got in line for it and took a back seat ride. That was pretty fun. After that we got some pizza at Firehouse pizza. Three slices for less than ten dollars, not bad for Six Flags. We wanted a ride on Batman, but it was closed, so we headed over to V2 and fastpassed our way to the stairs. The line was on the bridge. We waited about 30 minutes for the front row. The launch caught me by surprise because I was putting my cell phone in my pocket. Yeah, the ride was pretty insane.Time to lose IQ points! Iron Wolf was up next. It was a 45 minute wait for the back row. The back was a lot rougher than the last time I rode it...I have no idea why.We just walked around the park for a bit and got in line for Deja Vu. This was thankfully the longest thing we waited for all day thanks to Fast Pass :). The wait wait about an hour and a half for 1B. I take back what I said about Vu being burnt to the ground just because of this ride. VERY intense and worth the wait.We used our fastpasses for Batman. We took a back row ride because we wanted to get on Raging Bull one more time before the park closes. Batman at night is always cool, especially in the back. It was 7PM so we had about an hour until the park closes. *copies Dave* Yes, this TR is really long and a lot of people are going to not read it and write 'Great TR' or something, so if you are read it, you will put ?! at the beginning of your post. Back to the TR. We had time, so we went through Necropolis. We saw some guy eat a cigarette and popcorn off the ground, and then some guy stick needles into himself. Disgusting, yet surprisingly entertaining.Raging Bull's queue was completely full and out on the midway, so we fastpassed it. We had another awesome night ride in the back. From the top of the first turnaround I saw that Viper's line was almost completely empty. At around the time where you drop into the helix, I told my brother that :lol:Obviously, Viper was next. The line was a lot longer than I thought, but we got in line anyway. We took a ride in 1:3. I say we got about 5 seconds of airtime :DWe left the park and spent about 45 minutes trying to get out of the parking lot. It was REALLY backed up. We finally got out of the parking lot at around 9:00PM. The day was pretty good I guess, we got in 8 rides.

I kinda worded that wrong. I didn't use a fast pass for Deja Vu, just for everything else.
