So I went today and stuff. The park was pretty dead when we pulled up into the parking lot.
Got into the park by 4:50 and they were already starting the let people in TDK.
We then walked into Mardi Gras and rose King Chaos...eh, Top Spin.
Then we saw Raging Cajun didn't have a line so we through why not, since the park was still dead. We had a good time on it, usual spinning mouse stuff/fun.
Walked up to V2 and re-rode in row 2...Eh, the ride is much better in the back.
Then we did Batman, we actually got to re-ride in the front row because there were only 2 people on the train at the time.
After Batman, we noticed Iron Wolf was running REALLY slow, it almost seemed like it was going to stall on the loop and turn around. So we thought it would be fun to ride. I rode in the back, while the rest of our group rode in the middle. OMFG was it slow...made the ride more fun really, especially the hang time on the loop. Although because of the cold, and only 12 people on the ride, the train was really rattling.
Waddled off, then went to Eagle. Red was down so we did Blue front row with no wait. I was surprised by the airtime right before the final helix...and nice pop. By now it was probaly 5:35 (ish).
Walked over and rode Dejavu...
Nah just kidding really...eh, Demon was next. Fun time with the fog and the ride was a re-ride in the back. Went over a got a smoking credit and then did Rise of the Demon with no wait. It was lame, not enough fog or special effects. The one good part was the guy throwing the bucket at the fence at us.
Went over to the bathroom and headed to Viper, 2 train wait for 1:3. I was surprised to see the fog going pretty good. 2 click ride with the thanks of my big camera bag in my pocket and a very loose seat belt...airtime.
Went over the Terror Twister and rode it 5 times in a row. And YES! THERE ARE 2 NEW SONGS! The first one was a "horse with no name" remix which sucked...then a song I have never heard before, not part of the original 5. Then the usually 3 of 5 songs. When we came back though it was in a different order, and from 3 ops, they all said the songs are random. And they should know if they work at the ride 4+ hours. Got car 12 which was the best. Really easy to spin, got going fast and stayed fast.
Started walking back to the front of the park and found out Cell Block A doesn't open till 8 WTF?
Went over to Rue La Morgue with 1 cycle wait. They changed the music on it, seemed longer. And it was a lot better at dark. During the day the blanked that covers the entrance is always open leaking light into the bumper car floor.
Walked back over the LAFF because the other people in my group wanted to see it. I got another smoking credit and saw a bright flash, then a load crack...SH!T! The lady on the bench almost had a heart attack the then thunder hit...funny.
I then walked over the TDK to meet Jon and waited about 15 mins...I really like the ride now. The more I ride it the more I like it.
We then walked over the Necropolis and rode Chaos again and Monster Mash.
Went into Necropolis and walked through. I got a LOT of people doing the garbage can trick!
We then meet my group while I got another smoking credit. Went into Necropolis again.
On the way out of the park I then rode The Birds in the rain. That really got me soaked for the night...and I'm still soaked.
Over all, for being in the park 4 hours we really got to do a lot. We probaly did more today then you could do on a Saturday or Sunday for sure.
TOTALS Chaos- 2 Batman- 2 V2- 2 Iron Wolf-1 Eagle- 2 Demon- 2 Viper- 1 Cajun- 1 TDK- 1 Terror Twister- 5 Rue La Morgue- 1 Monster Mash- 1 Birds- 1 - - - - - Necropolis- 2 Rise of the Demon- 1 Cell Bock A- 1 - - - - - Bathroom- 3 Smoking- 4 People Watching- 6 Garbage Can Prank- 9
I don't think so. People go there to get scared. And its not like we were going and banging every single garbage can. I only did it like 10 times in a matter of a few hours...and only when it was the right time. And the fact is, people got scared, they laughed, they had fun.
as dumb as it is to do that, i doubt those cans are sold to SFGAm for $350, otherwise they would be out of business considering they have probably hundreds of them.

Although they are bought in large quantities they are still very expensive, hence why you see so many crappy ones in the queue lines re-used year after year when clearly theyre not in any condition to be onstage. The new garbage cans they got on the midways this year, the Rubbermaid "Ranger" which is made specifically for amusement parks, was a huge part of this years budget.

Speaking of the monsters/scareactors, when I was at the park this weekend, They were really having a hard time with some of the younger crowds ruining the scares for the scareactors. I'd see countless episodes of them running up to the bushmen in Necropolis's walkway and mess with them and basically ruin there cover and spoil the scare for everyone in that group. You could see the look of frustration on the scareactor's and thier supervisors faces when this happened.
I don't think there's nothing wrong with having fun with the scareactors, but when you are preventing them from doing their jobs, it ruins the atmosphere because the actors are too busy trying to shoo them away from them. I see it a lot when the persons is chasing the scareactor around saying "your not scary" or alert people to thier presence which kills the "scare". I understand if a person doesn't scare easy, but if your not scared just move on and let them scare the scare-able people, because it makes it so much enjoyable watching other people get scared or for some, get scare themselves.
