Okay. So I arrived at the park around 1:30 and met up with my friends. We soon discovered that every ride had a ridiculous wait so we didn't ride anything except Monster Mash and Orbit our first trek around the park. Then, to the Sky Whirl Cabins. So awesome! (Side note: If you saw a paper sign that mentioned Skywhirl that was laying on the seat, it was mine, we'll get to that later)After that, we decided to get lunch out of the way so we walked over to Burger King. When we got back, we headed back to the Skywhirl cabins. By then, the army guys were out. We had quite a time with 1 of them. lol Next, we went to Seven Sins and rode Condor. Very fun but I wish the ride cycle was a little more different. 10 minute wait. Then, we rode Monster Mash and my friend got his car spinning so well, people were staring! I still can't do it. 10 minute wait. My 1 friend didn't want to wait out AE so my other 2 friends waited the 45 minutes with me for Red Train. Has anybody noticed that they changed something with the lift for AE? Both cars are almost stopping at the top much like Viper does. I love the fog. After AE, we decided to walk through Necropolis. I hadn't done it in '07 so I thought I should get it off my list early. It was just getting dark and I saw gravedigger, the skull-bride, a few not so well disguised bush people, Mayor Slayor, and the pumpkinhead guy to name a few. It could have honestly been better. They weren't going after me much compared to last year. After Necro, we waited through the extended switchbacks for BTR. God, that took forever. However, the fog was a great affect and I heard the batman theme playing more than usual. 1:30 wait. After that, we rode Monster Mash again with only a 5 minute wait. Since time was running out, we headed to Demon for our last ride of the night. The line was a little past the entrance but it moved fast until it got up to the station. They really did a great job on fog this year. It was clearly in all 3 tunnels and one of the best rides I've had in a long time. Before we headed out, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Skywhirl cabins. Amazingly, my paper sign was still on the seat of the Cabin but I have no idea how it got so dirty. I'll be sure to post pics and vids tomorrow.
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
We fortunately beat out a lot of the lines somehow. Right after we got off BTR there was a giant line when our line was already on the stairs!!! I guess we were lucky!!
Life Happens..... Do What You Gotta Do!!!! US ARMY!! HOOAH!

I commend your for waiting an hour and a half for BTR. A great, intense but very short ride. I would never wait over 45 minutes maybe 1 hour. Waiting 1:30 for a ride that seems to last 1 minute is ridiculous. The times I went on it without a flash pas were only about 15-25 minutes. That was acceptable. I'm surprised so many people want to wait for that ride so long. Oh, and if I hear anyone say they waited 2 hours for Bull I will tell them to see a doctor. Is it REALLY worth it?

If you wanted to do a coaster yesterday or even today, every wait was over an hour. Today, Bull's line was completely full with it running near the Viper's entrance when I walked by around 7ish. Dark Knight was an hour and half. Even the flats were 20 minutes plus, even the GAR.

The 2nd and 3rd weekends of FF are always like that, even the past two years closing weekend has been busy also. If all of the rides queue lines were not full/spilling out on the midway on these weekends something would be wrong. In another thread someone posted that SUFs FlashPass line was out the entrance? Now that is rediculous, and why I hate all queue management systems. If the parks crowded enough your going to have to wait in huge lines regardless of having a qbot or not (unless you get a VIP tour) + dramatically slowing down the standby. But since that line just to buy FlashPasses is always huge on weekends they will just keep selling more/jacking up the price/not regarding any flow of standby line. They used to limit the FPs to a lot less than they sell now. Although back in the day I loved going to FF when it was wall to wall packed cause it made for some great pics/TRs .
