Let us know how your day at the park was.

All Views expressed in this trip report are those of me and my wife, you might not agree with them, but that's life.

So I took the wife for the first day of Fright fest and there wasn't a lot of people there in the morning with was a good thing.

We got to the park around 10:30 and started to look around as nether of us has ever been to Fright fest.

After looking around and talking about how it seemed so dead, ( she was upset because there were no loony toons around) After going on Terror Twister, and the bumper cars , We got to American Eagle/ Black widow and rode the blue side as it had only a one train wait., from there we walked over to Demon and got the Black train.

We rode River Rocker, saw the 3d movie and after enjoying the band in Hometown we saw the Parade at 3, and ran to see Love at First Fright.

This show was by far the best show I have seen since the old Bugs Bunny show in Theater Royal.

It was jammed packed and we were lucky to find seats by the stage.

After the show we got tickets to Studio 13, and Musuleam.

Went to both houses and found that Studio 13 was the better one.

Saw Dead Mans party and both thought it sucked, It really make no seance.

Decided to check out Rise of the Demon after hearing good things from here about it, and found that it wasn't good at all. Rode Triple Play , and Fun machine while in line we saw the Whizzer broke down

Mostly every thing that people were saying was good about Fright Fest was bad, or just not fun.

Necro was boring, All the Areas that were Transformed didn't have anything scary in them.

We couldn't get on any more rides due to how cold it got and how long the lines were.

So we just waited till the Zombie Jamboree Parade and left

Pros: Reflection Pond looks so freaky with the body parts and tree branches in there.
Love at first fright ( there is a reason why employs at the park say it is the best show)
Strobe Lights + Fog + Let the bodies hit the floor = best Bumper cars ever
Zombie Jamboree

Cons: Nothing scary about the actors at all
Nothing going on in the Morning
Stupid white ( No offense ) People who don't know how to walk
Whizzer breaking down

It was good for what it was but we were expecting so much more the way the commercials, and people on here talk about it. I said it be for and I will say it agean.

The Actors lose their scariness when

1 you know they cant touch you
2 They pose for Pictures and act silly
3 they look like they came out of Kingdom Hearts
4 If you don't scare easily

We talked about it and are going to give it another chance on Halloween before we head to Antioch to see her dad.

They may not be that scary (I don't know since this year will be my first FF), but they do have awesome make up. They should have dumped some actual fake bodies(With stabbing marks or something)in the reflection pond and left out the branches altogether.

I'm surprised you didn't say nothing bad about the 3D movie. I thought that was stupid last year.

I can't agree with that. I would say the stunt shows (besides Spy Girl) were the best. It's okay the Love At First Fright show.

I absolutely agree. This was last year though. People were leaving from that show last year. I hardly see anyone leave from those shows.

Necro was boring....

I like it for the decorations. That's about it. I really don't care if there were characters in there or not.

You probably just aren't scared of the actors period. Some people are really scared of them while others could careless about them. The only thing actors would do to me is shock me when you don't see them, and they appear from nowhere. I'm not scared of them, but rather just shocked by them if I don't see them.

I like decorations part of Fright Fest more than people trying to scare me. Now, I want to try King Chaos, and Revolution while it's more intense because those rides in my opinion are so weak regularly. I'm disappointed that the only time on go on the Antique Cars that they don't have the decorations up yet. I hope they put them up.
