The city of St Louis! Known mainly for its crime and its beer company thats not American anymore.

Image
It has a nice baseball stadium though.

Image
She asked me to stop for a picture, so I stopped and took one.

Image
Director_Guy cant wait for Fright Fest so he can go to Disney World.

Image
We waited at the chains to ride Evel Knievel.

Image
Now thats extreme theming.

Image
Unlike Renegade and Thunderhead, EK doesnt have a station flyby.

Image
EK is a solid coaster. Not really a top 10 or anything but a fun ride. Its much better in the front than the back.

Image
This got me extremely sick last time I rode it, so seeing it closed made me happy.

Image
Call this number for all your trash removal needs.

Image
THBS, SFSTLs new for 2007 coaster. They have gotten 3 major rides in the last 3 years, and are getting an awesome parade next year. Score.

Image
The Boss is a very underrated wooden coaster. Sure its a bit rough but has a great layout and the double helix is awesome (though no one on the train agreed with us) :).

Image
You get a good cardio workout navigating the queue also.

Image
The Boss has a hybrid midevil & Harley Davidson theme.

Image
Right next to the Boss is the parks enterprise.

Image
Themed ads in front of Tony Hawk.

This could definitley use some cosmetic work like SFOTs.

Image
The rapids ride goes under Mr Freezes queue line.

Image
Random bulletin board in Mr Freezes line.

Image
Your too close to that nitro! (SDC reference there for ya).

Image
This probably sucked with OTSRs.

This portion of the TR is sponsored by Scott (Chitown), Mike Galvan, Dave (coasterdave), and Tom (sic coaster kid).

Image
Waiting in Scoobys line is always scary.

Image
Ill make sure to come back for this.

Image
Im not a huge fan of these, but everyone else seems to be. At least it has good capacity.

Image
STOP was running 3 cars and had a long line, pass.

Image
The cars drop at different times.

Image
STOP city-scape.

Image
Screamin Eagle was running well but still is the 3rd best wooden coaster in the park.

Image
It has plenty of hills and maintains its speed really well but not much air.

Image
Darn I really wanted these items that dont fit in the lockers.

Its the Vekoma coaster with Shockwaves lift chain.

Image
This might be the most rediculous thing I saw all day. There is a sign that says single riders, but there is no singles lane. My assumption would be they wanted to make that chute for single riders and the ride op would fill the empty seats with people from that chute. Its pretty outrageous that they somehow think people would realize this and/or it would work.

Image
This is the BLACKBELT OF ROLLER COASTERS.

Yes this park has a BTR!
This Batman is "special," as it was the first one to be mirrored meaning the drop and all the inversions go "the other way." It also has a crazy long and twisty queue line including a garden that goes back and forth a bunch of times.

And heres a video for visual aid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qSaItEr0Sw

Image
You may notice this employee is wearing a blue shirt. Thats because I didnt have a pic of this from my 2008 visit so I used a 2006 pic. Enjoy.

Image
The Batmans are still my favorite B&M inverts.

Image
This queue line is like it was designed by someone who sucks at RCT.

Image
Had plenty of time to take pics in this line.

Image
Not only did this cop car crash into a fire hydrant, huge rocks from the sky fell on it.

Image
Theres plenty of queueage to be waited in after walking through the garden.

Image
BTR is extremely popular at this park and always has the longest line.

Image
Apparently Gotham City is a good place to store strollers also.

Image

Image
Its the BATCAVE.

Image
Like GAdv the Flashpass integrates in the station, meaning theres an open door in the Batcave letting all the light in.

Image
This looks like a safe place to go.

Image
This is where Batmans chryogenically frozen.

Image
The traffic controller was wearing the invisbility robe from Harry Potter.

Image
Like many BTRs the theming is in a bit of despair.

Image

Image
SFSTL still has the graffiti on the walls.

Image
OMG a guys breaking in the lockers.
Wait that could never happen with all those people around there.

Image
Wheres Shaq?

Image
Scooby is probably my favorite ride in the park.

Image
This guy was not working. Was pretty sad we stood at a distance waiting for him to spit so we didnt get hit and he never did.

Image
This was my score. Wasnt as good as a couple years ago when we got "stuck" and kept hitting the same targets over and over again.

This was right next to an outdoor patio deck with no employee presence anywhere in the area...found that kind of interesting .

Image
SFSTL is health department approved.

Image
Much like BTR was built for the movie Batman Returns and TDK was built for the movie TDK, Mr Freeze was made for the movie Batman & Robin in the late 90s. This eating establishment in front of the ride showcased posters & stuff from the movie (didnt eat at it, but the posters were cool).

Image
The ivy was a nice touch.

Image
More rides on EK.

Image
ACEr convention.

Image
You will NOT be allowed to ride!

Image
The ride circles around the queue line.
Even though the rides new and it was a Saturday in August before school started, the line never got longer than 15 minutes.

Image
The queue and exit may be all bare plywood walls but the trains look really nice.

Image
EK keeps up its speed really well and has some pops of air in the front row.

Image
Another high speed banked turn around the station.

Image
We walked through HH. It had really tall lush landscaping around all of the paths so the theming felt very authentic.

Image
Notice this is a "permanent" sign.

Image
Pirate ships, waterslides, an erupting volcano, ahoy!

Image
It would be pretty fun to go fishing in HH.

Image
Its one of those Tornado things.

Image
Awesome sign, too bad its true =/

Image
So this isnt as funny as the new signs in the Disney waterparks, I just work with what they give me.

Image
We rode Mr Freeze again as it had started running 2 trains.

Image

Image
We got pretty lucky and picked the "good crew" side. At one point they sent 2 trains in the time the other side sent 1.

Image
Tony Hawk and Evel Knievel have themed Six Flags TV.

Image
EK, TH, and X2 are the only rides as far as I know that have themed SFTV.

Image
Even though im not a huge fan of these Tony Hawk was a great addition to SFSTL, it is one of the most popular coasters there.

Image
One last ride on EK before leaving.

Image
One last picture of EK before leaving.

Image
Anytime I see these signs it reminds me of the bathroom attendants that were to be in there at all times, im kinda glad they were cut as it was kinda creepy having someoene standing there while you do your business :P.

Image
Later.
