A Very Very Very good day.

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby demonbulleagle on September 7th, 2008, 5:21 pm
There is a reason why very is repeated 3 times
1-Short Lines
2-BTR Reopened!!!!!
3-Cheerleading competition (all around my age (13-15)

Got to the park around 11 and decided to ride Viper first, 10 minute wait, and it was a lot smother than the last time i rode it this year. Then we headed over to Bull and I saw something I have never seen there before, DOWNTIME!!! So we decided to head over Demon, rode red train (yay) could have been a walk on but I wanted to wait for red. Then went and rode Orbit, walk on. Then we went to ride wolf, it seemed rougher than usual even though I was on 2nd row. Then we ate at Papa Johns in the firehouse (because I was not paying). Next we rode STT and I did see the Chicago skyline. Then we went and rode BTR, 10 min wait, in row 6, and yes I did Grey-out. After that we went over to the now open Raging Bull and rode row 8, as usual it was good, then we decided to ride it again so we did, both time we waited only about 10 min, the second time we rode it with our eyes closed and that is so cool!!!! Next we headed over to Eagle red side and got a walk on and decided to do this with our eyes closed too and it was fun, it felt like the helix would never end. Then we started to head over to BTR for our last ride of the day, but we stopped in to watch some Cheerleaders perform in the Southwest theater :D . Then we went and rode BTR and we waited for front row, 15-20 minute wait, and the lift motor is running really smooth. After that we saw that there was almost no line for King Chaos so we decided to ride it, like I said earlier, B-O-R-I-N-G. so then we leaft the park about 4 and headed on home.

Ride Count
Viper-1
Raging Bull-2
Demon-1
Iron Wolf-1
American Eagle (red)-1
Batman: The Ride-2
King Chaos-1
Sky Trek Tower-1

Great trip report, you've now made me feel like an old fart at the age of 21! :? That's great to hear that BTR opened, bad news with the cheerleaders though. Honestly, even when they have the college cheerleaders, while being great eye candy, they are awfully annoying to wait in a line for a half hour with. Yeah yeah, Raging Bull, yeah yeah....SHUT UP already!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter :(

I'm 28, and I think I'm getting too old for this. I feel like I'm the oldest.

But never for a good roller coaster or water ride. 8)
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

I always look at the skylines now no matter which ride. Lately, I was trying to find the old Vu and SWF locations and it took a while because from far away them seem really tiny. Bull, STT, GD and Demon give you great shots but looking at a bunch of concrete when on Demon is annoying. They should have put that area under construction and blocked the view this summer. R.I.P SWF I miss you more than Deja Vu. Yeah, I said it. I mean it.

Well the main reason I have never seen it is because I have only ridden it on one of the cars facing the enterance.....

And wishman, STOP STARING AT THE YOUNG CHEERLEADERS THEY ARE MINE!!! But there were the older ones there likw 18-19. And Tony i know what you mean with the cheering, they were cheering when I rode STT and finally I did shout JUST SHUT UP ALREADY IF I WANT TO HEAR RANDOM SCREAMING I WILL RIDE BULL!!!!!

I think they can be kinda annoying in general...unless you are at a game. I don't think we need them.
