I was thrilled when we finally arrived...

After passing Breakers Express and the Dorms, I was pleased to see the skyline.

While trying to go to Sandcastle, a parking person made us turn right after paying for parking rather then going left to get to the hotel, resulting in this Skyline picture from the front of the park. Then, I got some good pictures as we drove around the point:

Eventually we got around the point and turned onto the road to Sandcastle Suites.

Skyline view from the back of the park.

Finally after a long trip, we arrived at Sandcastle.

We stayed in the Corkscrew wing.

Everyone wanted to check out the room before we went to the park for the last few hours of the day, so while I was sitting being bored, anxiously awaiting entering the park, I took this picture.

As we approached the entrance, I was pleased to see that Gemini was racing.

I really wanted to ride Skyscraper, but no one else wanted to, so I didn't end up riding it.

Finally we entered the park.

Top Thrill Dragster was our first ride, and by this time it was 8:00. After waiting for front row, we didn't get off Dragster until 9:30ish.

Since it was nighttime, I felt like taking a groovy picture of Dragster.
We tried getting on Gemini, however they closed all the rides due to weather. From what I've read here, there were bad tornadoes in the Chicagoland area around this time. So, our count for Friday was 1: Top Thrill Dragster.

It was 9:00 Saturday morning and we were ready to head into the park.

Maverick was our first ride.

We weren't quite sure if the weather was going to hold up on Saturday, but it turned out to be a beautiful day.

After Maverick we headed over to Mean Streak. It was suprisingly smooth...

Next was Skyhawk, which delivered a pretty decent ride.

Cedar Creek Mine Ride was busier than I had ever seen it before. It actually had a line!!!

Millennium Force gave an amazing ride as usual, and had a relatively short wait: only 30 minutes.

No Wildcat today...

After heading over to Transport Refreshments, we rode the infamous Disaster Transport, which gave us a mediocre ride at best.

When Disaster Transport was over with, we decided to ride Wicked Twister, which I feel is better than V2.

After thinking that Demon Drop could be sold at anytime, I decided to ride it for the first time. I loved it, and it's a shame that it could leave...

Next we went on Blue Streak, one of my top 5 coasters at Cedar Point. We went on Power Tower afterwards, and then decided to go back to the hotel to swim. After staying in the pool for awhile, we walked down the beach near Wicked Twister and swam in the lake. It was pretty cold... We ate at Breakwater Cafe and went back into the park for our last few rides...
Gemini was first, and we had a great race with the red side winning.

I really wanted to ride Dragster again, but that wouldn't be happening...
We rode Corkscrew after Gemini, which seemed to be a little rougher than last year.

The last ride we rode at Cedar Point happened to be MaXair, which turned out to be fun. So, after all of the rides were over, we headed over to Breakers and ate at Beaches and Cream until midnight. We left the park at 11 the following morning.
