9/1- I hate/love the flash pass.

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby demonbulleagle on September 1st, 2008, 8:35 pm
I finally broke down and got Flash Pass today, my friend and I had a short day so we decided to get one.
We got to the park around 11:45 and went and got our flash pass, first thing, Bull. We got there about 10 minutes too early (oops), even though we were early the guy let us go, we went to row 8( and they did not have the pictures up. After that we went over to Superman, and I reserved our time for 12:26 and when we got there it said 12:45! I was mad! so we went over and rode King Chaos, there is only two things I can say, REALLY un-comfortable restraints, and BORING... woo were going up-side-down wee. Then for some strange reason we went and rode Jester's wild ride (jerster molester), by then our time for SUF was up and we headed over to that, normal ride as always). Then we decided to reserve a time for Roaring Rapids, we decided to go ride The Lobster and Whirligig. The time for RR was up, and that water was COLD!!! After that we set up a time for RB again, on the way we stopped to ride AE-Blue, we got a re-ride and then headed over to RB row 9. Then we reserved a time for V2, (we found a foot vibrator that was broken and just stayed on and we stayed there for...a while)then rode it. And then we got a cheese bread and headed over to out Whizzer time. After that we set a time for Logger's Run and stopped to ride Demon for probably one of the final times for me, I just don't fit, my knees are crunched, my shoulders are smashed, I just plain don't fit. We then headed to LR for the last ride of the day, got off returned our FP and headed out about 4.

And Batman was closed

The water on Roaring rapids was cold in June too. I remember on the 24th thinking why is it so cold? It was cold last week too and it gets you wet like you wouldn't believe until you get on it. I love the flash pass but yeah you gotta double check your time and they should lower it to at least $40 for one and $60 for two. Otherwise, include EVERY ride on the flash pass because even rides like AE, iron Wolf, Yankee Clipper (See ya in 2009!) and Viper have long lines sometimes. Are they too lazy to make an entrance for flash passes?

^ They just don't want to spend the money to make a flask pass enterence and if they added more rides to the flash pass they would probebly raise the price on them too.

I only went for the regular pass not the gold so it was only $39 for 2 people, but i used teh Season pass coupon so it was 29. And I wish Clipper was open, they say they are tring to make Demon a FP and it would be so easy! Why don't they do it already??

It's not that hard but they would sooner do American Eagle or Viper I think than Demon. Even YC. I can't believe I didn't get to go on YC this year...

i got to ride RB 21 times in 1 day..

get the gold..(even though its double the money) by the time the guy scans it, and you reserve it again. by the time you get off it it is time to get on again  ...and yes, demon could use a flash pass entrance :)

I just don't fit, my knees are crunched, my shoulders are smashed, I just plain don't fit.

Try the front of the car.
1. Your not on a wheel seat so the ride is smoother.
2. You have LOTS of leg room.
3. You have a much better view.

I am 6' 5" and I can manage to fit in the front of the car (last car, front row is a good seat). Not to mention the non-wheel seat is a lot smoother.
