--DAY ONE--

this year i finally got to go to cedar point (my first time) so friday i had my first day of school :( but we got out at 10:45 and left for cedar point it took about 4 and a half hours to get there and we arived around 5:30 we had to checkin in at the hotel breakers and got to the park at 6 when i first walked in i couldnt belive how much bigger everything looked then in pictures i was really excited..

the first ride we went on was millennium force which was about and hour wait, well that first drop is quite amazing so steep so fast such a great view some nice airtime on this ride for sure my sister was really freaked out and her face goin down the drop was hilariouse she was terrifyed which idk why it didnt seem that much taller then bull is...

next we went on mantis which was a 45 min wait we decided to wait for the front on that which was cool this ride actually turned out to be very smooth for me anyway until the corkscrew... i think that one was worse then iron wolfs corkscrew but it was still fun :) btw this ride just roars it so loud when it flys past

next my mom wanted to go on one rollercoaster there but she hates them so we took her on iron dragon
which was about a 2 min wait and she just screamed on the top of her lungs the whole time... i wasnt the biggest fan of it tho

next we when on raptor which was a 15 min wait they now video tape your ride i guess?? it said new so idk this ride was more then i expected i really liked it though but there were some extream g's and it was the only ride running all its trains

next i wanted to go to the dragster but my sister was just trying every possible way to go to something else because she was scared shitless so my family wanted to go on the ferris wheel and i said i would ride whicked twister which amazingly has NO WAIT!!! it felt like this ride when alot faster then V2 and the cooldown period was only 60 seconds but i have to say i liked the holding break on V2 alot better so i like V2 better then that one. i went twice (one in front one in back) and they were still waiting for there stupid ferris wheel but they were about to get on so i just waited but who knew that ride could be so long... after my sister wanted to go on the twister with me because she loves V2 she said she liked it better then V2 but i argued.

it was then nearing 9:00 and i really wanted to ride maverik so we walked over and my mom and sister said they were to tired so they when to the room and i got in line by myself.. i waited about 10 min and then it just had to BREAK DOWN! ugh so i waited about 15 min after it was nearing park closing so i decided i didnt wanna stand there all night and then i realized i wanted to ride MF at night so i left the line and ran over there then my sister called me and said that she went on the dragster on the walk back (which was a lie) so i wanted to go on so i ran past MF to the dragster to find it was closed :( and then i ran back over to MF and got in line at 10:04 it took about 45min wait and when i got to the station i wanted to wait for front but then i realized i proly want gonna make it and went for the way back unstead lots of people were in line for front when they annonced that there would only be 2 more trains that night so i watched as they all jumped over the bars and into different rows while i laughed to myself i was on the second to last train of the night and i think i liked this ride better in the day time it wasnt much different at night but i expected better after that i had to walk all the way back to the hotel and got there around 11:30 and went to sleep.

--DAY TWO--

we got to get in the park an hour before the public because we were at the hotel i had one thing in mind MAVERIK =] so we went there first it was still like a 20 min wait but that was better then 2 hours later in the day let me just say this ride is pure amazing every second it was my favorite ride at cedar point and there was just tons of air time and fast turns and the 95 degree drop was fantastic! i was in the train named Sam i guess and in the back. i loved how the lift was like kinda launched and also the 70 mph one outta the tunnel that was great, my dad said he thought he was gonna die hah =] when we got off i wanted to ride again but it was now an hour wait so i moved on..

next was skyhawk which was proly one of my favorite flat rides ever there was some great air time and just staring at the ground goin 60 mph was great i didnt expect it to be that good but there was no line and we ended up going 3 times because we loved it so much, this ride was very very loud though not sure why.

it was nearing the end of our hour so we when over to MF for a 30 min wait and a great ride they were still only running 2 trains though which was disapointing i mean come on its weekend!

next was the almighty top thrill dragster. so we got in line it said an hour and a half wait so we were like alright thats not bad.. we saw about 6 or 7 launches from the line and then over the loudspeaker we hear "ladies and gentalmen the top thrill dragster is curentlly down for mechanical issues we unsure how long the wait will be but you are encouraged to wait in line so about half the people in line left within 10 minutes and it was broke for nearly a half hour i really wanted to go on so we stayed in line after about 25 min i was just like alright mabey we should just come back later.. but as we were ducking under the bars whats that i hear?? vrooooommmm and a train full of people launched so i was like good thing we didnt leave but i was also wondering why they didnt test it or anything?? so once it got going we waited about a half hour and we steped in our train we were in like the 3rd car on the train or something and my sister looked like she was just gonna faint right there but she sat down and buckled in because she promised she would go on and then when we were sitting on the launch pad she had this terrified look on her face and she was just like tell me when its gonna go so i told her 5 seconds after the hissing sound and then the hiss came and we heard the click below us from the catch car and she was like omg what was that omg were gonna die! and then it launched and she just screamed on the top of her lungs and i had my arms up and was trying to get hers up but she wouldnt move. i felt like they slowed you down on the launch more then they spead you up it felt like it got to top speed in 2 seconds and then the other 2 it was slowing us down it was weird but once we got to the top she put her arms up and it was a good time and to tell you the truth i was very disapointed when i got off i thought it would be alot better then that...we both really want go on kingda ka so this was a good start

after that my sister wanted to eat so she went to eat and i went on the power tower (the upwards launch side) it was about a 5 min wait and i didnt think it would be that good but it exceded my expectations it was like a blinked and we were at the top :D this ride was also very loud.. which its made buy the same company as skyhawk so yeah mabey some kinda connection there.

next i really wanted to ride maxair but it was closed so we were gonna walk over to maverik again but it was a 2 hour wait so we went to mean streak unstead which suprisingly i really liked everyone says its bad but i really liked it and there was about a 30 min wait there i noticed this ride has a huge waiting area and it would suck if that was all full

next we went to gemini which absolutly blew me away! that is my second favorite ride at cedar point it was just so dang fun and lots of air time and only like a 30 min wait which was ok. i actually slapped a couple of peoples hands on one of the helix's it was fun but we lost to the stupid red train. drat. that was the other good thing it wasnt like a other wooden racing coaster we all kno and love where the RED side always wins hmmm AE! but this ride sometimes the blue won sometimes the red won it was great and also we were in the very back which was fun =]

it was nearing time to leave (we had to leave at 3 :( ) so i got one final ride on magnum i wasnt really expecting it to be that great but WOW this ride is awesome! it had TONS of air time and was just overall great i think i liked it more than MF! that line was about 35 min wait which seem short for such an amazing ride =]

then sadly i had to say goodbye the americas roller coast and head home :( overall i think our park could learn some things from CP everysingle ride operator had a smile on there face and had cool lines they would say before the ride like "this ride goes up side down not once not twice but never enjoy your ride" dont get me wrong i still LOVE our park and everything about its fantastic but CP just did some things better the one bad thing was that its a very popular place so there was tons of people and going back to our park even on the busiest of days will seem like nothing and also i like how our park has themed areas like outlined and everything but CP was just like a big jumble of coasters and people i cant wait to get out to SFGAM and see how the two compare =]

Sounds like you had great time. Thanks for sharing.
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.

Skyhawk and PT both use compressed air so the "loud noise" is the air being "pushed" out propelling the ride, which is one of the reasons Skyhawk has such a short cycle since you can only store so much air in the tanks per cycle.

Anyhow, glad you had fun
