Let us know how your day at the park was.

Got to the park around 9:45 and me and my 3 cousins were debating to go on TDk first but then we decided to go to V2 which was a great idea because we rerode it 3 times, 2 in the front row! After that we rerode batman 3 times until the station filled up. Next we headed towards TDK and waited 20 min, it was my first time and I thought it was bad, but i was expecting worse. Then we rode wolf and decided to go eat. Food is ridiculous you can't act like 13 bucks for the souveneir cup is a good deal when the soda costs 3 cents to make. After that we headed to bull which was about a 20 minute wait, then rode giant ddrop which was 15 minute wait. Then my cousin andI split from the rest of the group and rode logger's run 3 times with 5 minute waits. Then yankee clipper twice with 5 minute waits, and roaring rapids twice with 10 minute waits. The we headed towards superman and waited about a half hour for it. Then my mom and I rode whizzer which was 10 minutes as my cousins bought funnel cake. Next we rode viper and AE,then walked to batman again. Then my cousin decided to do one of the most fun things I have ever done at the park we rode logger's run for about 45 minutes and didn't get off once because it was 70 degrees and around 5 by this time. We kept on trying to catch up to the people in front of us by pulling on the rails on the side of each flume it was so much fun. We rode about 7 times. Then we headed to yankee clipper and they made us get off each time so we didn't get back on. Then we went back to the car to get sweatshirts and it started to rain. We went to Giant Drop which was fun because we were falling faster than the rain, and then ended the day with TDk which was better the second time around.

Ride Totals:
Logger's Run: 10
Yankee Clipper: 3
Roaring Rapids: 2
Giant Drop: 2
Batman: 4
V2: 3
Bull: 1
Whizzer: 1
AE: 1
Viper:1
S:UF: 1 (we would have rode twice but this gay employee wouldn't let us ride because there was some gay season pass event for the night and we came into line at 9:40)
Condor: 1 (ca caw ca caw)

Some side notes, the park is nothing like I remember i haven't been there since 2006 and the park has undergone a terrible makeover,

1. Being way to much advertising. Nobody cares if DDR is making more crappy games the just wanna enjoy the park.
2. Merchandise. Where are the looney tunes shirts, I don't want these shitty shirts with gay sayings on them from six flags.
3. Soundtrack: This is the biggest dissappointment, I loved the old ragtime music and even the dance music was better than this shit, I don't wanna hear 4 minutes every 4 minutes.

The park has become terrible under the new management, and I will probably not come back in 2009 unless they add a new big coaster.

LOL i love just re riding loggers run a lot, and the Loggers Run crew is better than the yankee clipper crew.

^ The loggers run crew and the clipper crew are the same as they are the same unit. But loggers has flash pass, so they probably put some of the better crew members there to handle that I suppose.

The advertising and merchandise have very little to do with each individual park as corporate decides how much and what they are willing to spend that money on. The soundtrack could probably be changed back to the original, but they obviously think the one they have is fine, or they wouldn't be playing it I guess.

And the S:UF incident is pretty lame...technically, you are allowed to ride until closing (10pm) since that's when the event begins. But depending how long the line is at closing, they may have wanted to get the non-pass holders through so when 10 rolled around, they wouldn't have any of them left in line.

And I guess saying "I'm not coming back unless the park adds this..." well, you are titled to your own opinion, but as stated before, that phase is over. Not saying it's never going to happen again, but the park is well-rounded as it is currently. I don't think one year of positive cash flow, at least for the first time in how long, is going to mean time to spend the big $$$ on roller coasters again.

I would much rather see a DDR ad then seeing the more flags more fun commercial playing in the line every 5 minutes even though you already are at Six Flags

So, I guess the seven signs that tell you to keep your hands inside of the boat don't apply to you?
