Hi everyone,

I went to Six Flags Great America May 24th, 2008. Since my friend and I arrived there before it opened, we waited a little bit for the chains to be released. The guy working them actually made us walk to our 1st ride, The Dark Knight. The coolest thing about the coaster was the introduction video! It was pretty cool. The coaster itself, as everyone is saying, was okay. It had 2 or 3 drops, but mostly it was making crazy turns on the track, like a zig zag. Overall, I would give the new ride a 2.7/5. It's worth riding once, but more than that, not really.

After The Dark Knight, we headed straight to Superman: Ultimate Flight. Man do I love that loop. Even though it's slow and the drop is not anything too special, that loop is and will always be AMAZING!!!

After that I really can't remember the order. I think the next thing we went on was V2. Last year I didn't enjoy the ride that much, but for some reason this time I loved it!!! We ended up riding it 4 times!!! Every time we went up the straight vertical part, I yelled out "Bring back Deja Vu!" I did this because you are in the same position as you are at the start of Deja Vu.

During our trip we rode Viper a few times. We enjoyed it, as always, but I didn't enjoy it as much as last year. However, American Eagle is so exhilarating! It's so fast, after all it's just 7 mph short of Raging Bull!

Also, we went on Iron Wolf and Demon once. Iron Wolf gave me a slight head ache, and I didn't get any thrill out of it... AT ALL! Demon was just okay, we didn't go back to it because we were enjoying our time on other rides.

As usual, we get really tired about 1/2 way through the day, so we sit down for about an hour, which helps us reboot. After we rested, we ate Panda Express. It was $7.99 for chicken and rice!!! Absolutely insane!!! But it was sooooo... worth it, it was so good!

On a side note, last year when we went we ran to Raging Bull right when the park opened. We were the 3rd and 4th people in line. The 2 people in front of us was this older looking man with long gray hair, definitely looked like a thrill seeker, and his son. We talked a lot as we waited for Raging Bull to open. Then we rode front row together. Anyways, we saw them again!!! We noticed them right in front of us on V2, and we started to talk again. It was so weird. What a small world!

We also rode Batman The Ride once, my friend does not like that ride that much. I love the theming of that ride, and also love the thrill of the 2 loops. Pretty cool roller coaster!

I thought that it is ridiculous that you have to pay $1 to use the lockers for the new loose article policy! Thankfully we didn't have any loose articles!!!

At the end of the day, it started to get extremely cold! We went on Superman: Ultimate Flight. After that we went to Raging Bull for our last coaster, we ended up running to it to make sure we would make it. And, we did. We were right before the last train to go. It seemed so much faster at night for some reason, maybe just because it was so cold. Anyways, when we were done, we all started shouting "one more time, one more time, one more time...!!!" It was great, but they didn't let us go once more, sadly.

Lastly, since pretty much on every ride I yelled out at the top of my lungs "Here we go....!!!" I had a really bad voice the next day. It was so worth it though! Surprisingly, the crowds were not as bad as I was worried about them. They got bigger as they day went on, but the longest line was Raging Bull which was about 45 min. No complaints there!!!

# of times on each roller coaster:

Raging Bull-2
V2-4
American Eagle-3
Viper-2
Superman: Ultimate Flight-2
Batman The Ride-1
Demon-1
iron Wolf-1
The Dark Knight-1

We went on every major roller coaster, with at total of 17 rides.

Thanks a lot for reading,

Speaking of a small world (perfect reference), last November I went to Disney World (of all places) with our band. The second to last day we were there i decided to give Rock n Roller coaster a try. So i went there, and was scared to death. So I went to the fastpass/single rider line to talk to the worker there. Her name is Whitney, and we talked for about 5 minutes. Well, get this, during that time i figured out that she grew up DOWN THE STREET from me. Perfect reference, eh?
Let's see... 12 days til colonoscopy (appt got moved :D )
