July 10th......RAIN!!!

Ok so it was a rather short day. We got there around 1 and intended to stay for C.A.D....but it didn't work out that way....So to sum it up short here was the day

-Superman (light sprinkles of rain and a 1 hr wait)
-DOWNPOUR!!! (for about an hour) oh and funnel cakes
-Iron Wolf (Someone puked so it took awhile for us to go!)
-Eagle (red)
-Eagle (blue...off red and right back in line to blue)
-Demon
-Viper
-V2.....we got the last ride....blackness just took over the previously SUNNY sky
-DOWNPOUR for HOURS and lighting/thunder so everything was closed


Mind you we got off V2 around 7....we left the park right before 9....and it was STILL exploding in the sky and pouring rain!

SO I guess we are unlucky when picking days since our last SFGAm trip was cut short by a damn downpour!!!

Check the weather maps! I never go when I see rain nearby anywhere...waste of a drive and money.

well what sucks about when i go is we really cant pick or change days since my grandma only gets certain days off work and my mom doesnt drive so we cant go unless we go with her. so if its gonna rain we have to take our chances or not go at all until next time or next year!! so we always vote for taking on the rain possibility.

You couldn't've got last ride on V2, the coasters did re-open for C.A.D and anyone who stuck it out got some pretty short lines!

I think what they meant was that they got the last ride on V2 before the thunderstorm started

yeah thats what i meant. right when we got on it started to rain and when we got off they shut it down.
