today was a nice day. i got a regular flash pass which was a first for me it turner out to be pretty good. i noticed that they finally decided to put the test seats out idk why but i love thos haha it was pretty crowded because of that concert and everything but i left at around 6 30 because i got tired. i think the flashpass is a good excuse to ride flats which is a nice little perk. it was actually my first time on V2 today which i loved every second of it and we were in the front so it rocked but i must say that it kinda bangs your head just a little if you more twords the front but its not that bad. im also convinced that raging bull is getting bumpier and bumpier everytime i ride it like right before the mid course break run its a little bit it doesnt matte rthat much but i just notice it alot and they had row 6 of teal train blocked off later in the day mabey there was another one of thos restraint problems but it still is my favorite ride no matter what... it was also my first time on loggers run i didnt really like it that much but it felt good i think king choas really damaged me it was horrible...s
ride count
RB - 3 GD - 1 V2 - 2 SUF - 1 BTR - 1 Whizzer - 1 demon - 1 loggers run - 1 king choas - 1 swings - 2 river rocker - 1 ricochet - 1 east river crawler - 1 scenic railroad thing - 1
i went on the swings twice because there was still a little extra time until the batman reservation
and yeah kind choas damaged me in all the ways you are proly thinking about and there was a guy who was rather large sitting next to me and his sweaty arms were all over the place it just ruined the ride experience
and no it really wasnt at all we reserved it and it made us wait all that time and we were right there and when we finally went in the flash pass line it was like empty we could went way before in the regular line... it was probably like a 5 min wait if that..

boppinbop, can you please give me the average time each wait was on the regular flash pass? the gold flash pass on the busiest of days only is like 15-20 minutes for Bull, i am curious about Regular because i want to do that next time.
Also about Bull, i sorta do agree. There is one noticible, annoying shake/bump, after the on ride camera and you go up into that small circle to go down the final small hill. The whole train shakes everytime. Its a bit odd.
Props to you for going on a crowded Sean Kingston Day (Maybe now they will stop playing his songs every 5 minutes). King choas is my favorite flat ride. Smooth, fun and crazy. I would never go to the park today. Too crowded and temps in the high 80's. Of course, a flash pass always helps.
RB- 40-50 min V2 - 30 min SUF 30 (mabey just a little bit more like 35 or so) BTR - they said it was like 40 on the flash pass but it was only like 10 min in the regular line TDK - 1hr 40 min whizzer - like the same thing as batman Giant Drop - was also like batman but i might have just caught a lucky part of the day on these 3 Loggers run - 40 min
thats about what i remember them being and it really gives you some nice resting time or time to ride the flats which i really liked
i also really like king chaos but i guess i forgot how thos restraints were and i also was a little worried about the concert but i figured it would be ok with a flash pass...

agreed, i would much rather listen to any of the other 4 songs they repeat all day then beautiful girl. I hate that song now with a passion.
Why cant they just play a huge playlist of music??

alright, so thats really not so bad...and you said it was really crowded? I suppose the Regular may be the way to go considering you can reserve as soon as you get scanned, and the time left in line and riding the ride and walking across the park usually could make those reservation times nothing. Constantly with gold my ride times are ready which is nice, but trust me it can lead to burn out with the rides. The flats are good times but i hate to wait in lines for those.
King Chaos line is a bit too much sometimes, but yes the restraints are tad bit uncomfortable for dudes, i am one myself. Its a fun ride but I wish it lasted a little longer or did a few more flips. Im just spoiled
My only complaint for the Gold one is that $80 is a bit high for 2 people when American Eagle, Viper, Yankee Clipper and Demon are not included. That might keep me from getting more of those in the future. Seriously, Whizzer and Iron Wolf yes but AE and Viper no???? Ridiculous. American Eagle's line is at least 20 minutes on a busy day and with that staircase it feels like forever. Every ride in the park should be included in the flash pass. Even ones line King Chaos.
i didnt get a chance to go to hurrican harbor yesterday but i was near the entrance to it at like 5 and there was tons of people coming out and tons going in also there was alot of people wearing swim suits in the park so im thinking it was crowded today but not for sure for some reason whenever i go on bull im never looking that way to see if its crowded im usually just staring out twords all the rides and looking below to see how long the line is on bull so i can get back in line and also it pissed me off that viper and AE arent on the flash pass too because i love both of thos and i didnt get to ride either on yesterday... they should at least have american eagle that rides a classic!
Alright. I was there yesterday. Now... I don't believe it was row 6 that broke on the teal train.. It was row 5. The train before mine. They closed off that row because they train was not showing up as being secure. It was not that crowded yesterday, especially for a Sunday. I got all the roller coasters in, including a few flats. The longest wait would be 30 min for Superman. Not bad at all. Eagle was racing and everything. Also, i rode the back row of the teal train, and when going down the lift, my restraint popped open one click, but im guessing it didnt lock securely on what i had, so I wasn't really too scared. All rides were up and running. I bet if Deja Vu would be here, they'd have it running with no problem. I didn't see any downtime yesterday. Ride operations have definetly improved since last season. Oh, and Hurricane Harbor reached Capacity. Batman's line was short for most of the day. Demon was a walk on, along with American Eagle (Both sides) [When I went on] Dark Knight was a 30 min wait, along with Superman Viper was almost a walk-on Raging Bull had a varying rate of 3-25 minutes wait (My first 2 rides on it were walk-ons.) Iron Wolf was a walk-on V2 was a walk-into-the-station-and-wait-10-minute-on Whizzer had barely a wait Most or the rides that normally open at 11 opened earlier (I got there at 10:15, off the Schaumburg Bus) **And Lastly, I got more rides in than some one wasting soo much $ on a flash pass. I really dont think it's worth it at all.
A flash pass is good for people who don't go to the park very often and don't like to wait in the boiling heat. You will never get on SUF or RB 2 or 3 times on a busy day without a pass. There is nothing better than seeing all those people look at you when you go right into the station. Why wait 30 minutes for a ride when you can wait 3-5 minutes?
Demon_07 wrote:I've never had one but since the rides "I" go on don't have very long waits, I never consider getting one.
haha Demon, yah i think you will do just fine without one.
You do go on Batman though right? Even so, Batmans flash pass spot blows, its at the sewer entrance.
We as a group need to trick you onto Bull, you will thank us after you see its not so bad. I feel way less secure on rides like Condor (considering i got stuck at the top).
