So got to the park around 10:30 usual time and first was going to be Bull but I hit V2 instead front row very nice about 20 minute wait. After V2 was Bull got back row and the scarest thing ever happened. The restraint popped open slightly as we were going down the first hill I was scared like really scared so I told one of the ride ops and the closed the row off on the Teal train.
After that experience I went on Viper in the back row, still the best air time on that ride. Didn't hit Batman or AE didn't feel like them. I did go on Superman back row still hate that ride with a passion but the people I was with wanted to go on it so I went on it with them. It had started to rain before we went on Superman it was around 3 pm when it started to rain, thunder, lightining etc. Went on Demon, DK twice, and Bull three times once in the rain oh that ride hurts in the rain. Also went on V2 a second time front row again and it was quite close to that bumper at the top of the spike. Wanted to go on GD but didn't have the time to go on it, didn't feel like going on it anyways.
Also we headed to HH for a few hours because it was getting hot and didn't feel like going on anymore coasters for awhile and me and my friends played a long game of tag at Skull Island which is hard and fun at the same time Wahoo was closed again I was so mad. Didn't get a whole lot of rides in but a few.
Totals
Viper 1 V2 2 Bull 3 SUF 1 DK 2 HH no rides just SL Demon 1
It only popped up a little bit, I couldn't really tell but I kept holding it down for the remainder of the ride and it happened right after the first drop. I was in row 9 left middle because it goes edge, middle, middle, edge and I was in the first middle from the left edge if you know what im talking about.
Ahh, so that is why the back row had all 4 seats roped off on the teal train...i saw that
Do they really go by what customers say. So i could go up to them next time and say a restraint popped and they would close the row. Or do they check and indeed find something wrong with it.
Bull has been having some issues with the train lately...particularly the teal train. It has had the issues with the train not securing and such. Personally i dont like riding the teal train for that reason. Luckily the trains that i end up are usually yellow and red.
Hope your ok, that is one experience I am sure we all dont want, it aint exactly a shallow drop.
Yeah but I mean one of the ride ops said I did a good thing by telling them so it didn't pop all the way open while someone was sitting there. And yes I'm ok thank you for your concern, yes people I broke teal's 9th row and then to boot we rode front row teal train I was like "Bad enough i broke the 9th row let's break front row too" It was a bit scary though, I mean I was still secured in but I didn't let go the entire ride that's for sure.
Well at least I'm not the only one and now i don't feel so bad, it was scary though let me tell you I had never had that happen to me on Bull at all. But thankfully I told them so nothing else bad happened, we don't want another SF accident to happen. I personally like the front, the back is ok but after yesterday I think i'll stick with the front or wait for a different train then teal. and wishman what were you wearing yesterday?
Did the lapbar restraint fail, or was the lap bar being held down by you and when you let go the lapbar came up to its normal locked postion???? I would guess that if the lapbar failed and wasnt working the control panel would set off alarms for the main ride operator and the ride has some stoping mechanism to stop as soon as safely possible.
No what happened was it was as tight as it can go on me and while going down the first hill it popped a little bit. there was no alarm that went off because they said the train was secure when we left the station. it just came up to it's normal locked position

i was wearing a gray tshirt with blue and white plaid shorts.
not a bad idea to stick with the front, although imagine restraints popping with nothing in front of you that would suck major.
