A Short rainy June 7th

Let us know how your day at the park was.

Well, I had a baseball game in the early afternoon so I decided to spend a few hours at SFGA after hearing my friends were there. I got there around 5 and it started to sprinkle. I got on Condor but then, before they started the ride, there was thunder so they had to shut it down. I decided to wait for Batman to re-open. It took about 20 minutes before it re-opened and I only waited about 2 cycles for row 6. Great G's! Then, we went for a spin on Whirlygig to get my mom involved in something. Since I hadn't done the train in over a year, I decided to ride it again. We saw some skywhirl cages and fright fest decor on the way back. After that, I headed straight for Eagle. I saw Blue side testing when on the train but when we got in line, it appeared to be stuck on the bottom of the lift. About a 20 minute wait for red in the front row. I had never ridden it in the front and man, is it cool! I love looking down the whole track. Right after we got off Eagle, it started to downpour. We were all soaked within seconds so we called it quits for the day. I had a strong urge to ride Triple Play on the way out so I tried. When the op. was about to start the ride, the stupid phone rang telling him to shut it down. I can't remember the last time I haven't gone on Triple Play when going to SFGA. Oh well. We took shelter in Trudy's. I got some candy and me and my mom left. Right as we got into the car, tornado sirens started blaring. I heard on the radio that there was a tornado warning in Lake County so I called my dad to make sure everything was ok. We sat in Burger King before coming home. In all, it was a decent visit but I've never seen such terrible weather at Six Flags.

I have a parking pass as well. It gives you the close parking. So far this year i've been able to park in the first two rows behind the handicap spaces which is really close to front gate. When you're in the park all day and its the end of the day and your tired, you really thank yourself for getting the parking pass because your basically right there when you leave the park.

I used park off park property last year and walk across the street which was getting old really quick and tiresome at the end of the day ,plus i have to deal with fact that my car might not be there when i get back (illegal parking)so, i just decided to invest in the parking this year and i am glad i did so far. it seems like a lot of money at first but it pays off if you go a lot.
