June 4th

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby rct2wizard360 on June 4th, 2008, 8:42 pm
Day started off pretty cold I guess, but it gradually warmed up.
Not really going to explain the whole day just totals and some notes.

TDK
V2
BTR- 3
IW
AEB
AER
Demon
Viper
RB- 2
Whizzer
GD- 2
Revy
RC

-Both sides of AE were running today. Frequent downtimes though.
-Red Train is indeed off of Bull, along with four rows of restraints on it.
-LOADS of new merchandise...

-PBA was there setting up the lanes for that tournament. Is that this weekend?

Otherwise crowds weren't bad. The worst wait was 35 minutes for Bull due to the two train op.
Not a bad day at all.

I like the look of the new merchandise.

Now I can wear a coaster shirt without having that coaster geek look.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

The shirts are UGLY!!!!!!!!

They would do much better to just use the emblem on the signs out side of RB/AE/Viper to put on shirts that they new ugly designs they now have. And while i like the new TDK shirt, why only one main design???? When i went to parks that featured news ride like Renegade/Patriot etc, those parks had 4 to 5 different shirts off the new rides, all much better than what SF has to offer.

Keep in mind Bob O, those are NEW coasters.

We have Dark Knight. Therefore, we have Dark Knight shirts.

When we have a new BIG coaster, we'll have shirts for that too.
You don't see Wicked Twister shirts floating around CP do you?

Those shirts look alot better then most of the geeky ass crap that has been out there.

You want to wear that dork merchandise, go for it, but I like the new shirts.

Agreed.

I'd love to wear a coaster shirt somewhere else OTHER than a theme park.

TDK is a new coaster, yet it only has one shirt for the ride , why is that when other parks that open a new ride have mutiple designs showcasing the new ride which I have found at many other parks.

I agree that most of the stuff as SF is geeky ass crap, but the new designs shown on this post are just as bad!!!

Just because a ride is old doesnt mean you cant create new designs/shirts for the ride!!!
Why is it that when I go to a park like disney they always have new shirts for rides like TOT with different designs as a example. Some parks know how to create a market and give you a reason to spend your money in thep ark, maybe someday SF will lean this!!!
Or I guess i could just buy speed racer items at the store by Viper, what ever little sense it makes to have those items in SWT or even in the parkfor that matter.
