The fair is more than rides. It's fun and entertainment. In Milwaukee we have 2 different Major fests: Summerfest and State Fair. SF is more for the music and WSF is more for the food and animals, and even rides.
For some wierd reason, WSF actually held it's own as far as music goes. On the Miller Lite Main Stage local bands and FAVES the BoDeans and Gufs were playing. In the CS Amphitheater, Shooter Jennings was playing. For those that don't know, Shooter is the son of Waylon Jennings a country music god!!! If you've seen "Walk The Line," Shooter plays his dad in the flick. SJ's show was really awesome!!!!
Then it was time for the "Giant Slide!!!" I had so much fun, you can get wicked air on that thing! My sis on the other hand didn't have a great time. The Ride Op was an a$$!!! He sent her down the thing and caused her some burns on her shoulder and arm on her left side!!!! A bad time on the GS
!!! That Ride Op should not be back next year!!!
